In season 5... they have to stop random worldwide tsunamis. In season 6...it's KILLER-killer Bees. (spoiler warning) They use pesticides. In Season 7..... they have to rescue crop seeds that are immune to the pesticides...that killed the worldwide crops...that they saved in Season 4! In Season 8....They have to find a cure for a disease that's killing all of humanity.... that was caused by the salt water (from the tsunamis) mixing with the seeds (from Season 4).... interacting with the pesticides (from Season 6)... They call it (The Last Cocktail)! It's going to be AWESOME!!!

Season 4 goes off the rails a little. Feeling like a retread of previous seasons and with Peter Weller as a truly mad scientist. But as Eric Dane grows a beard (along with some of the other actors) and gets his shirt off, it’s difficult to complain.

I love this show and have faithfully followed it but there is something in the continuity that has bothered. If all these millions of people died all around the world how is it that they still have perfect internet capabilities. I think it odd that everyone who maintains web sites were spared. I was reminded of this when in the first episode of season 4 one of our heroes is seen perusing a page obviously printed from the web. Just seems strange that's all.

the truth is that the show becomes more and more boring after season 2 for some reason the show writers cant imagine something more interesting than saving the humanity every damn season all we need is time travel ... with GOOD CGI not like that of the first 3 seasons hell there was some improvement but if you cant make cgi use real helicopters works for James it will work for everything else lets face it even a 1997 show has better visual effects i know i sound like hater but i love the show im been constructive here after that seaking with the russian markings in season 1 the series got down hill if its not the Arleigh Burke-class destroyers used for the ship shots it was going to be like any other low budget movie or tv show ... boring and forgotten

This show became so boring 3rd season that I haven't been able to bring myself to suffer and watch the last 4 or 5 eps. Still, I've had some small hope left that the 4th season might change things. Not anymore. It's like some stupid action game or Star Treck as others quite accurately pointed out. Predictable, full of clichés, corny. And it started so well 😭 At least I have no regrets about leaving The Ship when it began to sink after watching this....
