It's Crouser, and it's literally not even objectively close lol

Big Man from Boring has had an amazing reign of dominance.. Would love to see another gold for him this year at the Olympics and possibly inch closer to that 24 meter mark..🤙

The world record cited here is out of date.. Crouser threw 23.56 last summer.

That's correct.. 🤙

You only need one good throw to win in shot put. It doesn't matter if you have 6 of the best 7 throws in the competition, if one of them is not the number one throw, you're not winning. Over their careers, Crouser is better than Kovacs, and the best we've ever seen. Not even close, although I enjoy seeing them and others compete.

He does have the world record, but I think consistency in competition is an underrated trait

I wanna see this video but only looking at the last Olympics to now…then tell me who’s a better thrower

I like this video but the table with velocity, release height, angle, etc. is a pretty flawed analysis. It only took one throw each from the 2017 World Championship. Velocity, angle of release, height of release, reach over toe board, were all greater for Kovacs on that particular throw. Crouser isn’t magically defying the laws of physics with his “physical prowess.” The other numbers, regardless of a few degrees of angle of release, on Crouser’s 23.56 would certainly better than Kovacs’ 23.23.
