First time I've heard this beautiful song by Anita. Her voice was an angels voice and I wish Country Music had honored her more. What a treasure she was.

Anita was my mom. This song brings back so many memories. She’s my angel!

I saw you in concert when you were at Fort Knox in 1991. You were great. I've always listened to the Carter family , Johnny cash was my hero when I was A kid back in the 1960s . I saw him in person in 1978 when he was gracious enough to come to Globe Arizona and play the Sammi Smith concert , He was great , we all cheered . I love this music . Don't you know the father in heaven loves the Carter family.

A beautifully structured - and criminally overlooked - gem of a song. I have worked to rectify that historical error by including it in my carefully curated KZbin playlist of the catchiest pop songs of all time.

Not too many people know the Carters gave Chster Atkins his start when no one else would because he was too "jazzy."
