Anna, I hope you know how much you are loved and appreciated! My praise for the week is .. I’ve told my grown children that all I want for Mother’s Day is for them to all 3 come to church with me along with their husbands and my grands. From what I can tell, they are all gonna be there! 🙌🙌 The low of the week is this is my first Mother’s Day without my mom. I was her caregiver for 1 1/2 years before she passed in December. There have been lots of tears shed this week as I miss her so much. I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day! 🩷🌺

One of my little treats for myself every 2 weeks is getting a $6.99 bouquet from Trader Joe's. They're surprisingly beautiful for the price and I can keep them alive (mostly) for 2 weeks with frequent water changes.

I’ve been enjoying these videos so much! I’ll listen while folding laundry or doing dishes. Then the ads come on and sometimes are so startling and loud! I find myself rushing to turn the phone volume down or skip the ad 😂

The highs and lows of the week is a sweet idea! Currently 37.5 weeks pregnant. My high is finishing all the nesting to dos and things we needed to purchase for baby #2! My husband has a few other things to finish this weekend, but everything else is done! My low however is I’m am EXHAUSTED and so sore hahaha I did a lot of cleaning this week and my body is feeling it. Now I can rest though and wait for baby to come ☺️

how much do you manage to do with kids in tow? your videos are lovely and encouraging, but your kids are rarely in the background... Also, how much do you and your hubby agree on HOW things are kept and done... for example, I would prefer to say, "this is the board game cabinet" and keep the games curated, with what selection and how many and they MUST fit THAT space. My hubby is fine with that cupboard, then this odd shelf holds another half a dozen games, and another drawer holds playing cards, or whatever. We can't seem to come to an agreement... it frustrates me because he goes to work and leaves the space but I often feel like i"m not allowed to curate my space the way I prefer to, even though I'm the one that is home.... if I weed out games that I think are not played, folks in this house get upset.

That’s a toughy! Do you have a garage space or shed out back? You could always tote the ones that no one plays and rotate them. OR you could tote them and find the truth about how much the games mean. If the games sit in a storage bin for an entire year.. likely needs to go. My husband agrees to let me organize how I wish.. I won’t lie though, occasionally he has great thoughts on how to do things a better way! As far as my kids go, I purposefully keep them out of the videos. I just want them to have their privacy, and I also want to keep them safe so I do everything I can to keep their faces from really being shown. I just do a lot of editing and try to curate my content when they are spending the day with a grandparent 😊 but to answer your question, they interrupt A LOT and it can take me an entire day to film a 10 minute video when it should have taken maybe 30 minutes 😝

I love that! I mainly shop thrift stores and goodwill but I also shop secondhand through places like eBay and Poshmark. Key words like floral, square neckline, sweetheart neckline, puff sleeves, maxi, cottage core, and prairie help me find things I love! I also sort from lowest price to high to get the best deals.
