So EPIC: the Musical is a musical retelling of The Odyssey written by a guy called Jorge Rivera-Herrans. He also does the voice of Odysseus, who, if it wasn't clear, is the singer of this song (idk how much you know about Greek mythology). Gigi is one of the many fan animators who have created animatics for the songs. The final ten songs will comprise The Vengeance Saga and The Ithaca Saga. Interesting note: The English language equivalent of that phrase you mentioned would be "Between a rock and a hard place" which is a saying that actually derives from the Odyssey. It was originally "Between Scylla and Charybdis" - two monsters who controlled a specific stretch of sea in Greek mythology. To pass through, you had to choose whether you would sail closer to Scylla or Charybdis, and neither option was good.

One detail about this animatic I missed is the headband being ripped off, the headband belongs to that dead best friend who preached the opposite of this philosophy and had a big influence on Odysseus (the singer), but now that influence is cast aside in favor of the monster
