I wasn't big on shiver, but I liked the Raven boys. It's definitely interesting, but it takes a bit to get into. Your tbr is so ambitious! But at least you've given yourself plenty of options even if you don't get through all of them. I'm excited to see you're participating again!

Oh you'll fly through Fullmetal Alchemist and probably the Raven Boys as well if you like it. Tamora Pierce's books are always fun. Alanna is one of my favorite female characters.

I hope that you will love the Raven Boys but i found it very, very similar to shiver in the way it is written and so i had a hard time with it -apparently as the only person on this planet. But i do hope you love it. Wonderful TBR, good luck. Great video :)

These are so many books, but hey with a lot of determination you could push through and read all of these!!!! 😄 I DNF'd Since You've Been Gone so I'm a little nervous about any of Morgan's other books, but I might try to pick it up again and then read The Unexpected Everything because I've heard so many great things!! And I just got the first two books in the Raven Cycle!!!!! I'm soooooooo looking forward to getting into that series!!! I've never heard a bad thing about those books 😊

Despite all the great books I still need to read on the shelf, I managed to pick short books! So hopefully I'll be able to finish quite a few of them. I'm excited to read them all, but I'd have to say I'm most excited for Wicked by Sara Shephard - it's about time I got back into reading PLL and finally get the series finished! I've just watched your video and the official announcement today morning and decided to jump into this because I've wanted so badly to participate in a read-a-ton for some time, and this next week seems to be a relatively safe choice (I spend most of it home, there's a summer break at the university and it's true I have to work, but I'll hopefully manage it). The book I am the most excited to read is More Happy Than Not. I've heard so many things about it and I am just super eager to finally read it. :))

I really love The Raven Cycle so far but I read them soooo slowly. I'm not like a speed reader but it took me 3-4 weeks to read The Raven Boys 😧 Hopefully you have better luck!

I just finished TRK last night and I absolutely loved it! It's one of my favourite series but I wouldn't recommend trying to read The Raven Boys in a readathon - it's a complicated story and writing style that I worry would suffer from the pace of the challenge.

I love the raven boys so much and I find it amazing. However the first book can be quite slow. Some people can get through it quickly and some people think it's slow.

that's soo funny I had to stop house of leaves with 200 ish pages left too. I was having nightmares. I restarted and flew through the rest of the book last night in like 4ish hours. it feels soo good to be done! not that I didn't enjoy it. I love it! it's the book you never really "finish."

Does your Kindle shift around in the cover you use? I love those but I'm scared the elastics aren't strong enough to keep it in securely ...

Nope! It doesn't use elastics, the kindle fits snugly into the case. Think of it like a phone case that is glued to the book covers. It's actually kind of hard to put the kindle in and take it back out. The one I have is from Klevercase if you are interested. Very good quality!
