There is just something that brings peace when someone is able to notice you when there is seemingly nothing remarkable at first. It leads to this genuine connection and will to learn about each other.

She is telling something very precious. She is not trying to say that her, as a person wants to be unremarkable. I think she is trying to say that she desires that so she can see her real self. If you don’t try to pursue the will to be unique, different and remarkable, you end up being who you really are. If you don’t do things in order to be seen as a straordinarie and “rare”, you truly start looking at what your soul really lives for. And what really makes you unique. Cause if everyone lived with the intent to really listen to what the soul wants, everyone would be an unique human being. The problem is that in this society, where you need to show how brilliant and out of the ordinary your life/idea/desire is, you don’t actually try to be the most unique you can, but the most unremarkable. It is only through accepting what we actually desire that we can live an authentic life. Even if that means being not that special.

only through that lens can one see clearly ( and this is so beautiful thank you )

this is such an interesting perspective...our need to try and be different is what closes us off to the world around us, causing us to live within our own perception. It is the act of letting go of our perceived self that allows us to open to reality and come into a state of how reality is always one's perspective. this openness naturally brings out a shine and glow that we all have setting u apart from the crowd

To have genuine appeciation for your intellectual world. To recognize you with the same measurements of your own self-narrative. This is what we all want. We say we want goals and externals, but really what we want is to lay out our inner worlds to somebody and have them relate back theirs in awe.

This seems like a wrong philosohpy to have. You desire to be unremarkable, thus you suffer. Don't desire, just accept who you are without creating any descriptions for it.

You say you desire to be unnoticable and yet you make KZbin videos showing yourself, your opinions, personna and history. These two truths seem inherrntly contradictory and so I ask you, do you wish to be anonymous so you can avoid hardship/malice or do you wish to be anonymous so you can avoid responsibility/envy? Perhaps it's a bit of both or none at all, you decide. He who seeks comfort from lonliness, death, efficientcy, etc usually only exacerbate their intrinisc negative belief because your targeting the wrong thing, do not seek retribution but rather contentness, for if you are content no harm can come to you. Most people aren't content and so we see their externalizations of delusion. Note that this comment isn't intended to be hateful in any capacity just curious.

I relate to this. The exterior factors are so weighted in my own perception of others that it fears me to have any interest in exterior things as they compromises the authenticity of any human interaction. The extreme money and status worshipping culture here where I live makes it even worse. It is inherently contradicting to have such feeling as it is somewhat natural to have these biases as humans. A lot of the knowledge and field of studies people learn in school today is about exploiting these natural biases in visual perception, hearing perception, smell perception... etc.

It's 3 a.m. in Germany, was just searching for English university lectures, stumbled upon this video by chance, and what can I say? That somehow touched me, in a very uninspiring way, of course.

Epitome of female literature fantasy: plain Jane, unremarkable, really amazing guys, who for no other reason than her being herself, which is, totally unremarkable and average, are fascinated by and chasing her. Good luck!

There is nothing wrong with being unremarkable. Just don’t make being average into a goal. If you find yourself average try to improve on yourself if it bothers you. Otherwise be content with yourself

You wouldn't be making online content where you show your face and use your (presumably) real name if this were true. You desire to have both the advantages of being famous along with the advantages of being unknown and unable to affect the world too much. As do most people who are smart enough to see the advantages and disadvantages of both those positions.
