Theres so much irony to Rachel's character it's freaking hilarious. She says she wants friends but never makes an effort, she says she wants to be a star but never makes an effort, she wants to be a star but has no defining qualities to be a star. Her entire character is Envy and Sloth. When she doesn't get her way she complains how nothing ever works for her. If someone else is beautiful she complains. If someone else is stronger she complains. If someone else has better luck then her she complains. She has got to be the embodiment of the MEME Karen. She doesn't want to work for anything, she just wants it given to her.

This studio was great with backgrounds and CGI integration, but it was easy to tell they were making the action in fights and fast moving sections as simple as possible. A prime example of this is in the coin toss between her and Kuhn during the hell train arc of the WEBTOON, while Kuhn used his own efforts in order to manipulate the probability of winning to his favor Rachel waited to be chosen by ‘God’. What’s even more infuriating is that she’s been handed powerful things/ the help of powerful people and has gotten very lucky, when she doesn’t deserve it, yet she stills complains that she has nothing.

There were several mistakes made in this adaptation, several removed iconic dialogue or important world-building... yet it also did so many things better. Everything about Rachel's betrayal, and the things that led up to it, were better in the anime, in my opinion. Sadly, they removed her conversation with Hwaryun, but that is the only flaw I can think of right now

They skipped the "Congratulations,you're now the heroine of this story" as well as the "I'm afraid of the night" parts which I really loved when reading the webtoon,but I guess it can't be helped since it fits the anime style and justification of her actions and character better.

I was waiting for this scene with anticipation since I learned there was an anime adaptation of Tog and I'm so not disappointed ! I coundn't imagine a better seiyu to interpret this hateful but complex character ! And this scene ! I can't wait for the season 2 to see the real story begin !
