The funniest/most morbid part about that eel test is that it's completely safe since Headon is only testing for bravery and is standing by to 1-shot the eel for non-irregulars (and irregulars have to deal with the eel). Rachel basically screwed over Bahm for nothing.

I'd agree with you in the comic, but its very clear that jealousy isn't her primary motivator in the anime. Headon just took away the only thing that made her past life remotely bearable, and is now holding it ransom as the cost for the only hope she has at a happy life. She has nothing to go back to, and no chance of outwitting the people that are coercing her. Like a street urchin being taunted by a fat mob boss, she's desperate. Jealousy was just the final nudge she needed to make a sacrifice she very clearly did not want to make.

I hope they put a more details to the animation especially the characters in season 2 (pls just confirm it Crunchyroll). I’m saying this because the art of season 2 in the webtoon got significantly better and it was fun to watch it progress. There are some characters (not saying who) that are soooo beautifully designed and drawn I hope they can replicate what I felt when I first saw them. Season 1 in the anime felt a little bit cartoony with not much details.
