I'd agree with you in the comic, but its very clear that jealousy isn't her primary motivator in the anime. Headon just took away the only thing that made her past life remotely bearable, and is now holding it ransom as the cost for the only hope she has at a happy life. She has nothing to go back to, and no chance of outwitting the people that are coercing her. Like a street urchin being taunted by a fat mob boss, she's desperate.
