To Build a Fire on Snow, Relaxing Outing in the Woods

The end of March, it's still winter and I'm going with skis through the deep woods. Stopping for a break to make a fire on the snow and coffee in the kettle. A little bushcraft, a simple and relaxing outing!

I do for sure! So great to see snow! We have had zero snow here in my corner of the globe and we usually get quite a bit. Spring is approaching and so is kayaking season so maybe next winter.

wow, so calming. Erik have you thought of making a longer fire video ? just the fire ? we put the 8hr ones on all the time - sometimes just crackling sounds, sometimes with music, very popular on youtube, plus yours could be real, occasionally adding real wood, coffee pot on sometimes, pouring it into the kalka, etc... plus yours is so lovely with the real bird sounds, wind, snow, crackling fire. even your kindling fire is a work of art so beautiful.
