What an absolutely smashing idea! I’d love that! There’s a movie called “hot fuzz“ which is from 2007 and features English policeman in a small rural town. There’s a swan on the loose! Also a murderer. There’s quite a lot of violence, although none of it involves the swan. It does get a starring role locating the suspect. Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, and Timothy Dalton star in it.

I saw The Puddleduck and think it would be great to see a ballet with a duck white act after the duck sacrifices herself to save her beloved’s Christmas ( dinner) Oh and maybe there should be an evil (twin) sister duck. Who accidentally pricks her own finger and wakes up aged 121.

I absolutely love the idea of the protagonists choosing their own death options, and becoming very popular as a result! Jordan has the perfect disapproving, vinegar-y, uptight schoolma'am manner and Eden looks appropriately overwhelmed. She's obviously perfect for being a shy village maiden. They're not usually doing anything particularly menacing, but you can see the people at the park *very carefully* going around that huge conglomeration of geese... 🤣 They're only awaiting the signal to attack... 🤣

I would love the ethereal beings without tragedy // with happy ending, but those ballets unfortunately didn't survive on stage (La Peri, la Fille du Danube, Le Lac des fees...). The parallels between Giselle, La Bayadere and Swan Lake are no coincidence (; Isn't there also a happy ending version of the Esmeralda ballet?

I'll recommend Elden Ring for your video game. The boss fights have a rhythmic quality. Learning how to get past those fights is hard, really hard, but satisfying. 99% of all of the characters you meet either are already tragic, will die tragically, or both. There's adventurous breaking and entering, cursed children, hidden royalty, possessive gods, betrayals at all levels, evil doll makers, a wedding proposal under the moon, and even a dance involving a waterfowl. It's the most ballet video game I have ever seen in my life.

Eden is superb in this video, but it must have been something of a job to cut out all the giggeling, leaving only the short akward moments. A few thoughts: It is indeed a great loss to ballet, that Bounonville died before videogames were invented. The Bournonville style does lend itself to portraying geeks of all sorts. Now we are never going to know what he could have made out of it. Likeways the trans movement would be exited by an alternative plot of the sleeping beauty wher the prince comes out a trans and runs off with one of the dwarfts, letting Snowwhite sleep on for ever. Somehow the plots of the classsical ballets , altough beautiful, are not in sync with the world today. The availability of antivenom could drastically have changed the ending of la Bayadere, giving the reason for an impressive white act in the intensive ward. Jemima Puddleduck would benefit from another ending, which could indeed be tragic. I was thinking of the setting a Cristmass feast culmimating in a Chrismass dinner. That would give the stage worker the oppertunity to at one point blowing an enornous amount of white feathers oto the stage. That would be a mess, but the audience would love it. .
