PGR CN actually already has all of the mechanics for DMC 5 collab, they have a stylish mode to showcase a player's skill when it comes to dodging and parrying as well as comboing, characters have air combos now, one character literally has 3 different Ultimates, there's already a juggle mechanic for Global too, though you can't send them up into the sky like DMC you can still juggle enemies in the air, I've done it with Crimson Abyss before. Yes they've also implemented jumping mechanic, only for one character for now though and that same character can literally fly and juggle enemies in the air, it's crazy.

One of the reason why it PoC got fucked is probably because NebulaJoy. I search in the internet and wanted to learn about them and discovered they are quite a bad. Why i think this because they are the reason Megaman x DiVE had a lot of dramas. There is a video about them. Certain servers getting shafted, Criticisers getting banned, Favoritism, one-sided bullying, Inexperienced developers and probably marketing as well. Got so bad that the online server is gone on play store (offline version is available, but its paid) Of course PoC downfall is due to changing the aspect of what makes it a DMC game, but nonetheless, they might be the reason.

Differences like their services, Banners, their free codes, Even events and its banners were complete different rewards across servers. They were totally disregarded of their privileges unlike other servers. "Criticisers getting banned" is the situation on megaman x DiVE, they were giving valid criticism but they were all looked away, one particular, banned them for validly criticising the game. Would even converse toxicly with the players on discord. Its related to Megaman situation aswell so I didn't elaborate more on favoritism. they favors the mods much more than their own players, I also remember they were getting all the benefits like better rewards. I'm not sure but i think competitive events would favors the mod as well, giving them more benefits. One-sided bullying involves the same game, a criticiser was put in different discord server to be bullied by whomever the instigator invited to the server. I meant there was an offline version of the megaman x DiVE published by capcom themselves but its paid version. Sorry you didn't understand what i meant. Pgr needs jump mechanic, jump cancel, and the ability launch enemy into the air for dmc characters to do combo at the bare minimum. As for dante, i hope they can implement weapon and style switching.

The news brought me back to PGR after almost a year break. What happened once I logged in again? Well I pulled both new Watanabe and Lamia because Kuro decided I needed some new experience. Then it gave me Alysa. I forgot how much I adore this company. Anyway, the question I have is how the hell are they going to incorporate Dante and Vergil in the game? I know, I know, thye have gotten ridiculously creative with the latest frames but I still want to know how our 3 ping system will tackle the ridiculous movesets of these two. Maybe pinging certain orbs will put Dante in different style? Different orbs for different weapons? They HAVE TO put attack combos that depend on when you press the button. And I am pretty sure we will get Dante, Vergil and Nero. Dante and Vergil obviously gacha but Nero could be a freebie. Maybe we will get V too but most of us just want Dante and Vergil I assume. I mean the early the better for new people, (I did mention the collab is going to take 1 year for it to happen in Global) because they need to get a grip on the game first so they can prepare for DMC collab. Usually if you're F2P, every month you'll get like 5~7k Black Card at least by doing Daily Login and Weekly (not counting maintenance, events, and other activities rewards) So, in a year you could accumulated around 60~87k Black Card. Plus if you also doing events and other activities rewards that numbers could increase to 100k+ (If you don't pull for anyone at all) Which is more than enough for the collab.

And unlike DMC PoCrap, the devs (Kuro Games) are actually passionate about their game and have a large community both in CN & global supporting their IPs: PGR & Wuthering Waves. If it ends up not being what you're into, it's fine to uninstall. But I've never heard of a DMC fan saying PGR sucks after playing it themselves. Same for Wuthering Waves (their open-world action game inspired by Death Stranding).

I really don't know if Kuro will go with that direction. If so then DMC characters will literally take over (or 1 step up) over PGR characters due to most of them never be able to do Enemy Step or JC Combo. Which is kinda unfair for PGR side. But idk, that's just my thoughts tbh.

The devs have already said that the reason they drastically changed the game's combat system was because in the first betas, player retention was low. 90% of players quit the game after 7 days, and with this new system, that number has been reduced to 35%, This is of course not counting the global version. I think this game would have a future even with the changes, if it weren't for the annoying fans who don't accept changes. Want to do insane combos? Go to PC/console. In this game, you can also do combos, but in a more simplified way for mobile.
