Its been scientifically proven that women get stronger after bearing children--and nothing is more painful than birth!

I know that blood volume is increased during/after birth. And my experience is that my circulation overmatched the capability of the muscle in my legs when I started training. And yes, I have a new experience to draw from when the races get tough
