Gab, you're NOT bad at this game! You're really not. You're enjoying playing and you are effective. You're not an EXPERT combatant, but holy crap there are always deeper parts to this game's combat someone could explore. I'm good at this game, but there are depths even a good warrior hasn't plunged. Combat is not the most important part of the game either. Keep learning things that will make you more efficient, it's all part of the journey. You've worked on lots of skills that have already made you a much more capable combatant. I was waiting for you to get to the place where you could dodge for quick strikes and getting more bow criticals, and BAM now you're there. Maybe work on quick swapping next (more a mental exercise than a difficult skill) and you'll be even more efficient. Sorting your inventory when you get new equipment will make that easier as the weapons will be where you want when you look through the menu. Again though, you have been through a journey with this game, as all games do. And you've improved greatly. You are a capable warrior, Gab, keep it up!

I think most people who are eager to tell you their tips just want to share their excitement and passion for the game. But those who are telling you that you're "bad" need to take a backseat because first of all rude! And second of all what?? Throughout this entire series I was always impressed with how you picked up things super quickly and figured out all the puzzles so easily. Stuff that took me hours or that I eventually just googled because I got too stuck 😅 And you casually discovered new things that I never even knew about. At the end of the day you should play the way you want and enjoy the game at your pace. I for one think half the fun is seeing how you figure things out precisely because there isn't one "right way" to play the game.

That fact that Link needs the Sheikah slate during trials specific destined for the champions of the divine beasts makes me think that they had the power of their corresponding sheikah powers. Gab you’re REALLY good at the game. :D I’m happy you’re doing the DLC, this along with that AoC game’s cutscenes brings so much richness to the characters and story. It’s interesting that Mipha’s diary is about Link becoming silent and distant (visiting less often), and Zelda’s diary is about Link becoming closer to her and more talkative and spending more time with her. But it makes sense they bond over both having an absurd amount of pressure on their shoulders as Princess and Hero. We get to learn a lot about “present time” Link in Zelda’s diary. But yes you’re doing amazing. Great gameplay! And yes, Fi is back. Skyward Sword is important to this game and likely the next game.

The one you read was her research notes in her study room, her room is just on opposite side of the bridge where the castle memory is. There's also the king's journal as well in his study room which is hidden behind a metal bookcase in the library.

You're great at this game! That this game is so big and can still be challenging after hours of play makes it a dynamic game. Expecting a gamer to go through any game without dying or struggling at moments is perfectionist, toxic, and makes ZERO sense. That would be such a boring game. Everyone dies in combat sometimes, that's normal, that's how we learn new attack patterns and timing. Every sound in this game is tailored to the moment and designed to add stress or joy or relaxation. Experiencing stress when the music or soundscape is stressful is also a sign of a well made game, not a sign that you or any gamer is doing anything wrong. You beat Elden Ring, you can totally crush this game. And for what it's worth I really love your play style. I love that you explore because you see something interesting and not because you're following the latest senselessly perfectionist bro trend.

If you need a confidence boost about your skills, know that I also picked the game back up when you did! I was too scared to try the major trials of strength until I saw your strategies. They’ve been working great! Thanks!

Bro I hated that horrible spike shrine so much I don't blame you for taking a break from it. Also you didn't even use Stasis to get through it, that's amazing.

Hi, love your vid's, there so relaxing and fun!!❤ Breath of the wild tip: When you are at a stable and see a dog🐶, throw some meat🥩 on the ground near the dog, the dog will eat it after a while and shows u some treasure.🎁 In all of my 400+hours of gameplay I think this is one of the coolest things 😬

I don't have any advice for you; you're doing such a thorough play through and doing it really well! You really managed to pack a lot of fun sidequests into here. Tarrey Town is always my favorite, and you already knocked that out, so yeah I'd be totally satisfied if you did the DLCs and went to Ganon. I will watch this playthrough many more times in the future!

How can ANYONE be hating on you and saying your bad at this game?! Excuse meeee you are a QUEEN and make it look effortless! I enjoy your Zelda play through so much and get so happy when you upload a new video 🥰🥰🥰

Oh man, this has been so much fun to watch and watching you enjoy it feels so good ❤ Honestly, the trials are just for the Master Sword and yes they’re fun until you die for something silly and have to start over lmao. Those might be for you to do at your own rhythm and time if you ever are curious. I can’t wait to see you go to the castle 😊 Thanks Gab!

I’m really happy to see that Gab is enjoying her second play through of BOTW. I felt the same way about the game the first time but if you give it a second chance, you see things in a different light

I have enjoyed watching you play this game again and enjoy it. I recently finished it myself too. My personal opinion is that with any game they are ment to be enjoyed and have fun time with - no matter how you play them or how good you are. I have never considered myself an excellent gamer or anything of sorts, but I do enjoy playing games a lot in my own way. So keep up and don't mind what others think of your style. I have always enjoyed it and you seem to have a lot of fun playing this one. That's all that counts.

Gab you are definitely not bad at this game! You inspired me to play again too and I'm having a blast going right alongside you. I have done the DLC divine beast fights before so if you (or anyone else reading this) want help on strategies I can drop some hints! I also have done the Master Trials in a previous play and can say they are not worth it XD They're fun just to do but definitely not worth the stress. I'd say you got most of the really big things (unless you want to read Zelda's diary) so going through once more before Ganon feels like a good plan to me :) Thanks for playing Gab

The rest of the DLC is much longer than you’re expecting. I don’t want to spoil, so just saying I think you have another episode of just Champion’s Ballad. But you’re also right that Ganon won’t take long, especially if you don’t follow the path up to the castle and fight the things along the way.

Just wanted to say I'm sorry some people have made you feel anxious about your play style. I've been watching several people replay this game in anticipation of TOTK and yours is definitely my favorite and the one I look forward to. I really enjoy how chill you are and how much you seem to genuinely enjoy the game. The way you connect with the characters and cutscenes, laugh at jokes, and get excited over little secrets and finding the Koroks and when you riddle out the puzzle of the Shrines. As a Zelda fan, it's makes watching this so great to see someone else just enjoy the game. I hate this culture that everyone needs to be a god gamer to play a game. I sucked at combat during this game for a good 80+ hours until it started clicking 😂 So, please just keep being you because your content has been such a joy to discover. 💚

WHO TOLD YOU, THAT YOU WERE BAD AT THIS GAME!!!! we will all beath them up. I love watching you play this series and I've had so much fun and learned a lot. There are things you found or knew about that I didn't, and I also enjoyed chuckling at the things I actually did know. I don't think you're bad at the game by any stretch of the word, but even if you were It would still be fun to watch because you are fun to watch. Being bad at a game doesn't mean that the content is going to be. I love you're videos and series so much so thank you for putting all this good stuff out there

No way. The sword trials are super fun! All you really have to do is prepare properly and then take your time and be very strategic about how you fight.

Zelda: you’re ready! it’s time for you do defeat Ganon! It’s a hundred years in the making. Link: but what about my side quests? Zelda: …?

Can you imagine if, at the end of that bonus memory, instead of Zelda reaching out to Link it was Fi instead. She does not jump out like she did in Skyward Sword but she just starts talking to him saying actually what Zelda said about gaining his memories and going to defeat Calamity.

This is how I get a perfect parry for a guardians. For close range I parry as soon as see a beam (This needs quite high reaction times so timing it a bit before blast also works) For mid range (This is almost all of encounters), I wait till the beam is about half way to link. For long range (almost max distance) I wait for the beam to be about two thirds along. Hopefully this helps

I have beaten Gannon three times and have never entered the castle through that entrance you found. I’ve also never found that shrine!🤣😂🤣 Just play it however the eff you want. That’s the genius of such a densely packed game-you get individual experiences.

The Champions' Ballad has an entire final dungeon to it, even after you do the 9 shrines and 3 boss refights you have remaining. It may take you two more episodes to finish up, although it's probably closer to one and a half, or even just one episode more in length. But I don't think you would have time to beat it and also beat Ganon in one episode. You're definitely correct in your estimation that you could go to Ganon right now and easily beat him with what you have. You're late-game powerful, with all the champion abilities, and he'll be at half health. The point of most of the extra quests isn't really to make you powerful enough for that, it's just the extra story and shrine puzzles and whatnot. The Trial of the Sword is easier than it sounds, you get to do it in chunks and they give you more resources for harder enemies/environments, but it's definitely not essential game content, so no problems with you deciding not to attempt it.

Can't believe people are saying you are bad at BotW. You are amazing at it! Several times during the playthru, I have noticed you did XYZ faster and/or better than I have. The tips are only because there is a lot to this game, like 900 korok seeds, and quests you wouldn't think are quests.
