Dropped a tear out of nostalgia :'^). Over 20 years ago now, I remember me and my cousins would put this track on reverse and wager 50 cents on who would win first place. It was insanely difficult because the traffic comes at you on reverse and you'll get hit by multiple cars if you get touched even once. We're all adults now, living far between several states, I hope they remember and miss these times as much as I do, good times.....

As with a lot of Mario Kart 64's music, this song has a lot of repetitive bits, but I think it actually works really well for this style of song. There's something almost fill-up glassy about this one, those arpeggiated runs of notes that accompany the melody are almost hypnotic, and I love the new age melody that takes the lead, this is a great example of repetition done right
