Toad The Wet Sprocket - Woodburning live on the Jon Stewart Show 5-5-1995

Toad was in the midst of their spring 1995 tour when the stopped in New York City for a couple days of television appearances. May 4th saw them record an appearance on Columbia Radio Records Hour while the 5th saw them make a stop at the Jon Stewart Show. The band played "Woodburning" but also played "Fall Down" during the closing credits. This performance of "Woodburning" is a typical one that would have been heard on the 1994-95 tours. This is so awesome to watch again. I actually watched this when it was on TV the original time it aired. The Jon Stewart show was on at 2AM and he had some incredible bands/musicians on his show back then. I worked 2nd shift back then and TV sucked so an awesome show after midnight was a welcome treat. This was during the pre-internet days so we were limited in the entertainment we had available. I miss Jon doing this type of show & prefer it over his political show even though that was good as well.

@@caramason56 Some other major expense always comes up every time ticket sales are released. Definitely going to the Cleveland show, just not sure about the meet & greet. But....more than any other band or famous person, I have the desire to meet the guys that wrote and performed so many beautifully written songs. They just seem like the guys you'd want to have been friends with.
