A great blend if you have a sweet tooth. Nice review. I'm pretty sure that Sutliff Creme Brulee is the bulk version of this. Tastes the exact same to me. Enjoy your pipes my friend.

As I hinted at in another comment, there are some blends that I occasionally return to for nostalgic sake, reminding me of when I first got into pipe smoking.

One of my favorites. There are a few sticky, goopy aromatic tobaccos that are worth the trouble of drying out. This is definitely one of them. Always enjoyable when looking for a sweet and satisfying smoke. Great in depth review. Be well my friend.

As a Maduro cigar smoker who drinks coffee black and whiskey neat, when it comes to pipes I love aromatics. I smoke cigars more than I do my pipe but I accidentally bought a tobacco when I bought my pipe and may have well smoked a Virginia Slim Ultralight out of that bad boy and just was turned off.😂

You are spot on with the suggestion to use a microwave. I just learned how to enjoy Molto Dolce two days before watching your vid. But this was not until after giving away 6 of my 7 tins....did I finally learn how to enjoy that sticky gooey mess of a blend. And this is after leaving the one open tin I have, open for days and it not drying at all. So, what I tried is: I spread one healthy pinch, evenly and thinly, over a paper towel (leave no mounds). I then run it through the microwave at 6 to 9 seconds at first. The required time will vary from one to another microwave...so start with little time and work up. Then try another 4 to 6 seconds if the first run doesn't dry it enough. You do not want to over-nuke it because it will ignite and produce a thick cloud and ember inside the m-wave (I know because I set the time for 20 seconds for my first pinch). Once it is perfectly dried and not over-cooked, it's turned from near black and sticky, to a medium brown and dry to the touch...yet still pliable. When done in the nuker, I slide it from the paper towel into a bowl. And then onto the next: pinch, spread, nuke, dump into a bowl...and repeat until it is all gone through this process. Then transfer it all from the bowl, back into its tin. What a difference drying makes to this blend. I was going to give it a one-half star review, on SmokingPipes. But after doing I did, and smoking that first and second bowl, I had to give it a four star rating instead. I would've given it a five star rating...if I wouldn't need to do all I did for it to be not just usable...but very enjoyable, tasty, and yummy. I highly recommend trying at least one bowl's worth done this way.

This was the first pipe tobacco I ever smoked 4 yrs ago. I have a few tins but nowadays I almost never touch it. My tastes quickly moved onto unflavored blends, though I will go back to revisit that flavor and essence from time to time as it reminds me of visiting the tobacconist for the first time and buying my first pipe.

Just opened a tin; curiosity got the best of me. Strange; I am getting a nice vanilla/COCONUT smell. I have no idea if there is coconut in it, but I just get that impression. Yes, as you said, it is quite stout! Have not smoked it yet, but will come back at you when I have. This animal will need some drying-out time. OK, the scent hung around on my shirt just from opening the tin and putting a pipeful in my drying bowl, as I went to take a pee. It hung around in my computer room until I got back. Jesus, this will be interesting. Not sure this is dried out enough, but here goes. Smoking it. Very nice. A very nice aromatic, but it is a bit goopy, so requires some relights. I would describe the smoking experience as somewhat toned-down from the experience of opening the tin, but the flavors are still there. I don't taste any tobacco, only toppings, but I can tell that it is not bad tobacco. A very nicely-applied flavor for an aromatic. True, it is a bit heavily-applied here, and the tobacco is wet, but it still burns when you get it lit. All in all, I get from the first bowl a good aromatic, but there is something else, that must have contributed to this blend becoming recently famous. It clings. It clung to my shirt when I first broke it out and went to pee. It clung in my computer room until I got back. I would say the room note is nice, if you like it. It is hard to keep lit; goopy! Actually, not so hard if you tend it correctly. May need to dry my next bowl out overnight, but so far, so good, and it is definitely different.

This is a good daily blend. I also like after relighting not tasting burned. I use Meerschaum pipes not corncob so no ghosting for me. My allergy is so bad I can't smell anything so it has to be more tast.

Thank you for this review Wilson. I don't know why, but I have been craving some quality aromatics lately and I have really been enjoying 4 Noggins Thomas' blend. Considering some Country Squire blends, trying to order from Wilke, but they don't answer their phone there. Molto sounds a bit much for me so I'll skip it. Be well sir.

I am considered by some as ecletic piper. I like both Aromatics, Non-Aromatics, and English blends. There are quite a few aromatics that allow the tobacco flavor to come through. Some Davidoff's, some of Mac Baren's and others. It is a tightwalk of toppings/casings that make the difference. I encourage all to try it. If you like it, get some more, if not move on. There is a world of flavors to experience. Some of Mac Baren's 7 seas work as do the Erik Stokkebeye 4th Generation blends.. I use the addage - Smoke what you like, like what you smoke, explore your world. It will suprise you. Your channel is one of the best and your approach is excellent.
