Here is how hunting cabins work... The hunters will roam (randomly) around the circle area and hopefully run in to a deer. Each cabin will only get one deer every 2 months. So, even if you have four hunters in the cabin, you still only get one deer, but with four roaming the area, your chances improve to get a deer faster in that 2 month period. So, it's actually better to build another cabin to gain another deer per hunter. That cabin can be place next to the other one within the same basic circle.

For the vanilla blacksmith, you only require iron, and possibly logs to make tools, it's the modded stuff that needs fuel and the such.

I remember that the Gatherer is the best overall, gathering mushrooms, berries and hides too. And the big drop in food is probably because they are fishing without rods atm :) Also it was always very important to have an educated blacksmith and tailor - I think they use less material, but idk exactly! Respect from Austria

They use the same materials, but they make more. I think the agreed number is around 25% to 30% more. supposedly they also travel faster on the map but I can't find a way to test that so we'll just trust it.

Yes I think he started on medium difficulty, so he definitely has seeds already. I guess we'll see in later videos when he uses it

I think you have some resource that you are not using. Maybe you have some seeds (for farming) to work with. And the llamas could give you some food (not sure tho). I don't remember too well but a 11 x 11 farm is one of the best size for one worker. Good video :).

It would be nice if you took screenshots of the city at the end of the episodes and make a little comparison of them as an outro of sorts. I saw it in a different series from banished and it gives a really nice sense of progression in my opinion.

The game you were thinking of that had a business on the ground floor and housing above is CivCity: Rome. They were called insulas and could be upgraded.

@@TobelPlays Just played through the first missions. I would not recommend this game. It seems like a cash grab from some random people who gave up on the game in 2015. Development is halted, and is unplayable after the third mission.

I like this series but want to mention there are Age of Empires 2 tournaments with nice prize pools, might not interest you but if it does can earn cash and grow the channel. Maybe stream a tourney, just an idea.
