So I will tell you some deep history about Shopify. I used to be in a senior leadership team back around 2018. The first round of the executive team made Shopify what it is today. Sometime around 2020 Tobi lost his mind and wanted a seat at the table of silicon valley elites (he always felt a bit left out) and now he has completely cargo culted anything the tech bros tell him. Really sad to see. That is why since 2020 Shopify hasn't really innovated anymore and whoever is left is also looking out.

@@LennysPodcastThat’s honestly a disappointing statement. Disappointing because I’m a fan of your work and expect better from you. Expect better in the sense you’ve talked about “updating priors” in multiple episodes and you seem to be shying away from it yourself. You “were” an Elon fan is understandable but you choosing to stay a fan after his Nazi salutes is strange. Your fandom is now towards the richest person in the world who is also leading a massive Government department, and is the leading voice on a potential conflict causing topic (interplanetary travel). Curious, how does one draw in the boundary in terms of flaws?
