Don’t buy this Chinese Junk! The product is very buggy and barely works if at all depending on your internet quality. Being in the US where a majority are locked into shitty ISPs this is a huge issue. If your internet is ever iffy then forget about it this product won’t work for you, and if you are unlucky it will decide do to daily resets for no reason instead like it does to me.

I had some issues with my old router, which would go down all the time, and a few times when it went down it disconnected my devices. Then I got a new Unifi wireless router and I haven't had a single problem since. The only thing I don't like now is that they started putting ads in the Gosund App

I just received mine and it doesn't seem to want to connect. I keep getting the connection failed error. Idk what else to do. The light blinks rapidly and then it does the 2 minute timer but then fails 😐

@@sarangtaey yes kind of. It works for one plug but not the others. I need to reset it and try it again or something otherwise I have to return it.

I bought one of these smart plugs to turn a light on and off on a schedule. I can turn the light on and off with my phone but when I set the schedule the smart outlet will not run the on/off schedule. I really wish you had shown how to set that feature up. Incomplete review of the product. Wasted my time watching this.

Thanks for the great review. I bought one of these about a six months ago but I just can't bring myself to use it. After installing the app and reading through the privacy policy they sure seem to be extracting a lot of information for just to be turning my lights on and off. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had concerns.

I use those for my fish tank lights..I use echo to turn the light on and off..they are easy to redo if you have an internet problem and need to reboot.. I've had mine a few months now...

@@TobiasHolenstein I was thinking of using them for my heaters..I can then get Echo to turn them off at water change and back on say 4 hours later in case I forget..I have a wall socket from the same company with 6 socket 3 to use with Echo and three normal ones..they could be useful for tanks...

Nice, I was thinking about connecting the other plug to my pond pump, so when I need to do maintenance I can just turn it off with the app instead of having to unplug it and plug it back in every time
