dude I absolutely love the way your drums sound, I have started to use an audio interface for my guitar and a neural dsp granophyre plugin, and it sounds pretty neat but every time I try to use something like FL studio and record the sound sounds terrible, and it gets even worse once I export the file, I wonder if you maybe had some tips on the software end, (with DAWs and exporting more specifically) that would be greatly appreciated!

That's strange. I'm a metal drummer from 15 years old and I'm now 39, kids, wife. I have stopped playing drums now due to a disability. Took up piano. I turned to my wife and said..."If I could go back and tell my 15-year-old self to not pick drums at school and to go for piano instead. For some reason, I've passed that stage and am really interested in it all of a sudden. Weird

Great blast beat! I was a stagehand and set up slipknot a few times..one time, I went in front of the stage while they were on,(between the security barrier and the sub speaker stack) and wow man, it was insane!

I watch to see what he does and how he does it to get an idea on things I can work on. Then he doesn’t play exactly the way the song does. For a split second I’m disappointed, but after that split second I’m too busy being impressed to stay that way and I enjoy it more. I’ve come to really enjoy how he takes a song, stays true to the original but also true to himself. What results is a man who demonstrates imo a high level of skill and passion for his craft, and a inspiration to the rest of us that isn’t intimidating to watch. You all have seen it. You watch someone play and they are so good it makes you feel like throwing your sticks away? I guess what I am trying to say sir is that you do amazing work and you rekindle a lot of dying fires in people. Please keep up the amazing work!
