Ive been playing PC games for a very long time. Almost 20 years in all levels and I do consider my self a good shot. I agree with everything you said in this video. But the number 1 cause for bad aim for mouse users is to high sensitivity. The issue I personally have is my mouse grip due to me having big hands.

Newbie to FN. Aim is subpar but improving gradually. You’re spot on with the reticle fixation problem - focusing on the other player and not the reticle has worked miracles for by battle skills. Great video!
@davelong12772 ай бұрын
If you’re consistently flicking past your target, that’s a great indicator that your sensitivity is too high. That’s actually one method to get your sensitivity figured out for yourself. Flick left and right at a target trying to time your shot to hit them. If your shooting before the target turn up your speed, if your shooting past them slow it down.
@Sebas_yy2 ай бұрын
It’s better to train and see if you can actually play at that higher sensitivity rather than just lowering it. But yea you do not need a crazy high sensitivity to be good. Just fast enough to not be at a disadvantage
@olive02092 ай бұрын
@@Sebas_yyI second this. Assuming we’re talking about mouse then you need to adjust your sens based on the amount of mouse pad you have. I don’t have a big mouse pad so I play a little bit on the higher side sens

My aim is like aimbot! I just realized that aim assist was ruining my aim and it was messing up my training accuracy. Thank you so so much Toby! Phenomenal map👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 If your map had a rank system, this would be even more eye catching.

My favorite topic! Kovaaks can be a good tool if used optimally. I personally sometimes find though people find aim communities like Voltaic and end up getting lost in the score farming side of it rather than actually improving in-game aim. An example is it's not advised to attempt a shot on a target for too long because you'll end up with a lower score and instead go for a target more central or nearest target. In the game, this doesn't work as ideally you want to deal with the immediate threat. I think you've actually made one of the better aim training maps along with old bens map, between those two you have two great tools that also get good practice with in game weapons which all have their own character to learn i.e bloom size, recoil, projectile or hitscan. One thing I did find though is that controller players don't really use typical aiming they use what some call aim assist abuse or RAA Abuse where you keep both sticks engaged in the deadzones and this will keep auto rotation in motion. Turning off aim assist to work with raw aim though will def be a good way to train since epic is in the process of tuning aim assist to mirror raw aimers.
@DarkiusWebiusMemesius2 ай бұрын
What I do when I do Kovaak's is let's say I'm doing a static clicking scenario, or a dynamic one, I'll just attempt a target once, and if I miss, I quickly move on It helps a ton for faster inprovement!!

As a controller player who hit unreal in ZB within the first 2 weeks: only use a raised stick if you play on Linear on a high sens. Expo players like myself can make microadjustments no problem. Low sens Linear players should be fine too. High sens Linear (like 50% or higher) might benefit from it though. If you use a raised stick, it takes you longer to move the stick from one position to another. If you're playing on a high sens, then it's not a big deal. But if you're playing on a low sens, it will be more difficult for you to keep up with an enemy's movement

In order to correct your flick you just need to make adjusments to your sensibilty 1 point each time, horizontal and vertical, until most of your flicks are right on. It's not cheating, just hours adjusting correctly and trying for example in bhe. Find first correct sensitivity for flicks (probably a slow one, then add boost to be able to turn fast when needed. BEST done in linear). Balance eveything until you feel confortable and almost never miss a flick again, without micro adjustments.

I’d suggest recording your runs and watching them back at reduced speed. This challenge is difficult not only because of the need to mechanically track the target, but also because you need to correctly read the bot trajectories and lead the target.
