Did you re flash? I heard that you can also “program” it by letting it idle until the fan turns on. Know anything about that?

I love the look of this exhaust compared to the stock one but I just don't want a stupidly loud bike. Its just obnoxious in my opinion. Especially when a lot of riders who ride super sports or nakeds make fun of the harley guys for their loud bikes lol. How much louder than stock is it?

Thanks for watching! It is very very loud compared to stock. However in our video it does not have the optional decibal killer in it. We just ordered that part to install onto this bike, we will have a new video soon so subscribe and stay tuned!

Quick question: I got it used, with the dB killer. There's a red paste on the surface where the link pipe meets the slip on. Any idea what it is and should I be putting a fresh layer on it as a sealant of sorts?

Hello thanks for watching and I apologize for the huge delay, crazy year. I hope you figured it out or received and answer from somewhere, if not I will give you my opinion. Without photos I am going to speculate that it sounds like a sealant. You shouldn't need a new layer if you are not experiencing any leaks around the seal! Hope you are enjoying the exhaust as much as we are! 😁

@@3rdgear877 hey yea it looked like red loctite, sealed right back up after 1 heat cycle. However, even with the dB killer in AND ear plugs, I lasted 10 kms/6miles 😂😂😂 it was just too loud for me. Way too loud. Could not focus on riding and couldn't hear the traffic at all. Went back to my arrow. Sold the toce to an enthusiastic gentleman who's had those SC project crt pipes on his zx10r so he knew what he was getting into. Must say these pipes looked AMAZING. And as long as I wasn't the one riding, sounded great. But the loss of power down low and the excessively loud drone (wasn't so bad in the higher revs tbh) was too much of a bummer

My ears are my life and there's this resonance lower down that I just could not deal with. Tbh even with ear plugs, if you go on a tour, these cans WILL damage some hearing and I absolutely cannot take that chance. Sounded damn good on fly bys though 👌

Kim here! The pipe doesn't get uncomfortably hot unless you been dogging it like crazy or you are been traveling for at least 1.5 hours straight non stop. As long as you got good riding boots, you will be protected from that heat

Clearly you care enough to mention it so it bothers you. It shouldn't though, like you said, who cares what other people think about your bike and your choices. Anyway, I really like the way this exhaust looks. Just wondering what the weight savings are with this setup.

Also not to sure the difference in weight. We still have the OEM setup and can weigh it and give that info! But failed to weight prior to install unfortunately 😕.

@@3rdgear877 I ended up buying the Remus Hypercone. Including the connection pipe it weighs exactly 5 lbs. The OEM exhaust weight 13 lbs so a crazy 8 lb weight savings. Very happy so far with the Remus.
