Dino, im sittin' out front of my house and have not been able to get my double bottle top to work for nothing. So i ask the question on youtube and your video came right up. I bypassed the round thing and boom! I am now gwttin some heat. Tomorrow i will go to the hardware store and get some switches and connectors and do it the right way. Since I have a 4 year old and a dog I'm replacing the safety switches but this just saved me from buying a new one! I plan on running a toggle on one burner plus the safety just to make it easier to run 1 or 2.

Where would i go about buying a jumper like that? I have a feeling that is my issue with my heater currently.

So mine doesn’t have a rubber sleeve, it is two metal clips, if I tape them together that would save me the issue yeah?

Hey Dino thanks. I have different issue. It seems like my red button is vapor locked. I shut heater off in mornings and keep red button pushed in while turning off so any gas gets burned off. Do you have any idea to remedy this?

ONE SEASON, and one side goes off after letting go bumper switch, SO I UNHOOKED the wires an alligator cliped them together buypassing the saftey switch, same problum???? so it must be the thermal couple?????? ANYBODY COMMENT.

Lookin for fixes. Found this and I already wired the wires together. Guess the thermal coupler is the fix
