The thing is, Jimin is the one who had the shortest training period with BigHit and he wasn't given vocal lessons at all then and was thrown straight into debut so his frustrations were understandable. I feel that it's not so much as insecurity but frustrations with yourself, knowing you could do so much better. And, taking one step back, I think it's a TESTAMENT to his INCREDIBLE TALENT that BigHit included him in the debut even when he has the SHORTEST training period than the rest. If BigHit wasn't so certain of his talents and capabilities, I seriously doubt they'd take that chance.

Thi person's vids are not good,she exaggerated + used unnecessary language to make the boys look bad..Read that she's not a fan any- more, so that makes sense..Jimin saw hate tweets abouthis cute teen cheeks that made him diet unheal- hily for a short while, but he's been healthy for years, except shoulder/ neck pain, a dancer's curse, cuz he always goes all out..He's also not just a"mochi", he's very handsome, sexy, crazy multi-talented ( 4 Mar- tial Arts, Sports, Stunts, Songwri- ter, Producer, Musician, Artist, Smart/IQ=128> Math/Chemistry Science Whiz, was going into Science before BTS, won many street Freestyle hip-hop battles, many KPop titles, ETC..HE=🔥🔥

Squishy min yoongi is one of the reasons it spread that Jimin was insecure and had eating disorders. This is not true. He always discussed how he wanted to improve but thats just him wanting to be better but he is very confident. As for the eating, he used to diet like most idols and the guys have discussed about it but it was these videos that spread that he had an eating disorder but those are assumptions! This misconceptions of him are problematic.

idk if insecure is the right words? he just seems hyper-critical of himself and people tend to push their own reasoning onto that (so insecurity etc). Also, obviously we can't diagnose eating disorder over comments and videos but whether or not to the point of disordered eating, he did still have incredibly harsh eating habbits, which fortunately he has vowed to not return to. anyway, the fact he can say that would generally indicate that he does not have an eating disorder/didn't have one, or /if/ he did, he has support systems in place to prevent it from cycling, so either way we should be supportive and not assume, like you said. (not critizing your comment, just agreeing with you and providing a tangent perspective in case curious baby army are clicking through)

i’m not saying you’re wrong, but in an interview Jimin did mention how he would only eat 1 mean every 10 days, and how he would excessively diet even causing him to pass out during practices. Idk if the classifies as an eating disorder but it is heartbreaking :(.

As a mom I can't tell you the amount of times I wanted to lay hands one some of his haters. This beautiful young man is extremely talented both in dance and singing as well as martial arts. The early days broke my heart. You could see how hard he was on himself. I'm happy to see him except himself and dismiss the outside noise of haters. When I started getting into bts I didn't know who my bias was. But I related to Jimin the most so after a while I called him by bias and I found about his hardships which in reality were a lot similar to mine. Even if the cliches are used, a seasoned, curious ARMY will find out that the cliches are not true when digging deeper into the personalities of the boys. These cliches might also just reflect what the author of the video believed at the time the video was made. I know Squishy left the fandom but her videos still welcome many a new ARMY, curious potential ARMY etc. I am really curious as to why we, as a fandom, need to cancel her because she decided to leave the fandom. Whether she is making money of her videos now that she isn't army shouldn't matter, (in my humble opinion) it is her content and she created it, it is on this platform and people watch it. If there are reasons that I don't know about to stop promoting or watching her videos (other than her decision to leave the fandom) I would like to know, if you can share? Thank you.

This sweet precious soul! I just want to hug him! Dancers always are hard on their looks and weight. Yes even to the point of 1 meal for 10 days or only eating chicken breast for a year. (It broke my heart when he said that.) He has come a long way, but still says he hates being alone. Don't be sad or feel alone Jimin! Jimin never had eating disorder. He once had severe diet which he said he will never do it again. Eating disorder is totally different thing. No karmys ever said anything abt this but iarmys bc of mistranslations and different understandsings. Most of all kpop idols including other members have gone dieting. Also thie insecurity. Jimin is more perfectionist. He was really hard on himself. Now he’s more relax and happy~

people don't have eating disorders because they're weak. eatings disorders are mental illnesses, and every living thing - weak, strong, or otherwise - is vulnerable to illness. also the level of critique on idols' appearance/bodies is insanely unhealthy, and the dangerous "diets" they're often forced into are more like enforced eating disorders, tbh. jimin restricted his food intake to the point of risking his health, all in pursuit of an idealized body image - there are a lot of doctors who would diagnose that as an eating disorder.

1) Jimin is not a weak person. 2) I believe I saw a translation of an interview around BS&T where Jimin said at one point he realized he hadn't eaten in 10 days... Maybe it was a mistranslation, maybe. Even if the not eating was classified as fasting, as active as the BTS members are, that sounds extremely unhealthy to start. I don't know if he had an eating disorder, but to call label not eating for days, 10 days, as a "diet"/"severe diet" is disingenuous. The fact is, Jimin had very poor health by not eating properly. And yes, he said he would never do it again and I'm glad. But if he continued, he could have died. To label it simply as a severe diet like he did sounds like it's normal behavior but it's not. Eating disorders are discussed in detail in the US in schools due to how prevalent they are amongst young females. It makes sense iarmys would understand the context of that interview in particular and infer Jimin had anorexic tendencies/an eating disorder. Now I know the backstory of BS&T, it's hard to watch videos of that time period and not feel sad, worried, and wishing Jimin all the best. 3) I'm so glad Jimin seems truly happier nowadays. He said he likes his body, and it's a relief. I still wish him the best.

The members were all hard on themselves for various reasons early on because as you know they were treated rather poorly by so many people. I feel like there is a lot less of that now and they are kinder to themselves because they know their power and influence, and most importantly their worth. This video is old so a lot of things changed including the members relashionship with each other. Like for example, Jimin and J-Hope are the only ones that are still roommates so they are definitely super close and they laugh at everything together, they just need to look at each other and start laughing. Jimin and Jungkook are together 24/7 like seriously and they went on a trip together in 2017 and jungkook is the one clinging to Jimin these days lol they're so cute, Jimin and RM are also really close, RM says Jimin has a healing atmosphere and they support each other very much, also RM thinks Jimin is so cute and adorable, Jimin and Jin are kinda like best friends honestly they hang out together a lot and laugh at stupid stuff and are both weird (Jin Jimin and Jungkook are also drinking and eating buddies and the funniest trio), Suga still has a soft spot for Jimin he's the one that said he is the funniest member and you can see that he is attracted by Jimin's happy and good atmosphere (same with J-hope), Jimin and V are still soulmates obviously I don't even need to talk about these two they're the cutest friendship
