i really do wish they would up their game a bit on gold earned cosmetics. They dont even need to be as flashy as the in game store ones and could be heavily grounded in pirate themes or whatever. Even some of the sets already in the game if they expanded on them like they did the ashen dragon set, it would be awesome, i will be waiting for the day when i can have an eastern jade winds short jacket lul

Ammo and damage and that would make the double shot 1 hit people. I personally think the only shot it should have is the double shot with a single button press and increase the reload time a bit

It’s just strange they go through the trouble of setting up a full story with Briggsy coming back, Tasha being cursed and things with the Dark Brethren only to ignore what the brethren were doing, Briggsy magically escapes them, and Tasha instantly cured. Are they just feeling spread thin on the story telling and couldn’t handle having side plots still occurring while the main story happens? ALSO what the heck was the point of the gold hoarder riddle quest story thing we did last year? We learn someone in the gold hoarders is mad the other hoarders are not doing anything to help their leader but then nothing? And why hasn’t the pirate lord buried his son? He had time to build up port Merrick for a man who is CHOOSING to remain dead to keep secrets from the dark brethren but nothing was done for his slain son?

I wish that their was more cosmetics that were tied to older commendations in the game, like if getting one of the commendations related to shores of gold got you a gold hoarders version of the throwing knifes or double pistol.

Would be interesting if they added the ability to wager on hour glass matches. If you are in the extended pirate legend or reaper hideout and you walk up to the world map that shows hour glass matches in progress on your sever you could interact with the map and have an option to view the stats of the 2 ships fighting and wager some gold on which one would win.

I just had an amazing idea for a feature. What if the hunters call faction built a restaurant and added cooking mechanics like seasonings. Then you could cook for the restaurant and sell food to other players. Idk probably a stupid idea but itd be cool and it would make hunters easier to level up.

I could be wrong, but I somehow doubt that Tasha is fully cured of the Skeleton Curse. It could be that her being within the vicinity of the Burning Blade cutlass is creating the illusion that she's cured and the curse will come back when the Reapers inevitably steal the sword to fully resurrect Flameheart. Either that, or her storyline was just an excuse to get the sword out in the open so the Reapers could steal it anyway. And none of this changes the fact that the Dark Brethren are still after a cure for the Skeleton Curse, whether that's the Burning Blade cutlass or something else. To what end? My guess is that the Cap'n wishes to be cured of his own curse, or they're going to use it to make Flameheart mortal again so the Cap'n can finally have his revenge.

Started playing SoT a month ago and it can be a lot of fun but it desperately needs more to work towards than just cosmetics. It wouldn’t upset the balance if add some rpg elements in creative ways… I’ll try not to go on for too long 🙂 but how bout getting to lvl75 rep with Hoarders unlocks quest to get temporary buff to get a chest out with one dig. Once complete quest you get a special shovel have to equip or have to hold down dig button for 3 seconds to use, and the buff has a long cooldown, like once per day. Could do same with speed of raising anchor but have it be lvl75 rep with Souls or Merchants. Or add a bit of crafting to the game, we can already make some food so how bout ability to make cannonballs and could have specializations where can make one green or purple cannonball per day, or have materials be hard to find. There’s so many ways to make mid to late game more interesting for those of us who don’t really care about cosmetics.

I would love more gold earned cosmetics yes, as there isn’t a whole lot hit the emporium keeps getting updated religiously. However I want different ones at different outposts. Like in order to buy ashen equipment you’d have to go to the devils road, shores of gold contains more gold hoarders equipment for instance. Much like you already have to travel to reapers for the upgrades. It would add a special uniqueness to the game as you would have to travel and explore in order to see what the outposts had to offer.

Wait you’re not gonna talk about the patch notes side of this update? Some notable fixes: fishing rods no longer lets people control their trajectory in the air after shooting out of a cannon, burying an ashen winds skull or wind horn no longer recharges it, throwing knifes no longer work on capstans, ammo boxes, or armouries. Bone callers no longer work in the PL hideout, shrines randomize loot so you can’t farm the same items from the same shrine.

These brick piles are probably the Skeleton Camps that are coming soon, we’ll see them get slowly built throughout the season, just like when Port Merrick was coming

They should make it so as the camps build skeletons spawn more frequently, and there's higher chances of skeleton ships attacking you there or captains popping up. Lore wise it's skellies trying to keep their gains. Game wise it's easy free loot before all hell breaks loose. For the fiftieth time.

Playing sea of thieves tonight and there was quite a few bugs nothing major my friend was glitching a lot on and off and we were on for about 5 to 6 hours maybe just a little bit more and in that time my friend glitched at least 10 or 12 times mostly just small glitches where he was bouncing around from place to place mostly when he was standing in place and also had a huge glitch at a port taking treasure off the boat and all of a sudden my was facing the dock at the port ricocheted backwards away from it i’m talking about the front of the boat the bow and my ass is the boat was facing away from it and I went ass first of the boat backwards so I went skating ass backwards all the way out into the water 5 feet backwards when I had a few other teeny tiny glitches where my character would not stay hook on the boat whenever you shoot it at land and walk on it to get from the boat and land whenever I would balance on the hooks rope I would glitch out and fall off 7 to 10 times so yeah we had dealt with a few glitches just minor small glitches not glitches that would break the game they were but annoying as crap The boat one was where I actually funny and a little bit of a surprise

I think they should add more skins for the double gun and knives that you can buy in the actual game(gun stores and stuff), just like the other weapons. Most of them have to be purchased at the pirate emporium, and that is a little disappointing. Of course, there is a way to get other skins through the war chest decoration. But it's only 3, and they're not even that cool lol

No patch notes about a fix to PS5 crashes,Skull of Siren Song annoying respawns,game crashing when joining someone approaching an active FOF or some glitches used as an advantage (which I avoid to mention,but most of us and them probably know already). @@dangerface300 I hit lvl 32 or something after just a few hours of fishing with a Galleon crew. Maybe a total of like 8 hours across a week. Just gotta be careful cause some crews will raise Guild emissary which cuts into reputation and others want to not cook because they're trying to grind out the fish collection instead of HC cause getting all fish commendations is more rep than lvl 50.

Rare being very mysterious about this as always. I do agree with how much is going on in game, flame heart doesn't look as if he's making a comeback any time soon! However, I still enjoy the game. Bit confused as to why the throw knives and Double barrel pistols have only 3 skins (which you can buy with in game currency) (6 each in total) and why they don't have the traditional ones. Also if throw knives and double barrelled pistols aren't in weapon bundles are they not weapons then? its a complete rip off I don't get it. Also, they should make the horn of fair winds more common I've played virtually all season 12 and I haven't found one! Also, throw knives are so bad for pvp and since they wanted to 'mix up the meta' its defo staying the same as you have to be sooo accurate with throw knives. They take so long to throw as well. Shortening the animation would make more people even consider using them. That said they are great for PvE.

They really missed an opportunity with Flameheart. WHATEVER THEY ARE PLANNING pales in comparison to if he was PHYSICALLY PRESENT during the Ritual of the Flame ceremony. To have us go through a huge "community vote" to bring him back, and then take TWO YEARS to bring him back, is absurd to me. They should have just thrown him into the Ritual, pacing around giving his speech. Then thanking the true believers for working towards bringing him back. TWO YEARS is the time it takes Blizzard to make AN ENTIRE EXPANSION for World of Warcraft, all with dialogue, quests, cinematics, in-game cutscenes, and dozens of dozens of cosmetics, mounts, etc. Realistically probably 3 years, but still, we've gotten nothing close to this level of content in 2 years. And while him being present for the Ritual may have been a super small part, I feel like just having him THERE would have made it FEEL like we did something and had an actual impact on the world. Currently two years later, it feels like we have had zero impact on the world at all. And on top of that the "War for the Sea of Thieves" with Hourglass, is meant to have an impact based on which side is winning the war. And nothing is being done with this either. While I am SUPER EXCITED for Season 13, and sailing the Burning Blade with my crew, I am very let down at how long it has taken to come to this moment. It feels like the vote was for nothing. It feels like Rare is just doing what they planned to do to begin with. As they said prior to/during the vote event that Flameheart would be returning REGARDLESS of the vote, and that the vote would just make it happen "FASTER." If TWO YEARS is "faster" then I'm severely disappointed. This should have been ONE OF their TOP PRIORITIES. They're just spitting in our face it feels like for voting for Flameheart. I will say though, I don't think we really KNOW right now that Season 14 won't involve Flameheart. We knows some of the core gameplay mechanics revolve around stealth, and the grapple gun, and that's really it. But you are probably right, knowing Rare, those mechanics won't fall in line with anything Flameheart related in any way shape or form. I do hope Flameheart comes out without a hitch. I hope the wait is worth it. But I really just foresee yet another broken buggy mess of a content patch that loses it's luster after a few days because of how unplayably broken it will be. Like the knives and Double Barrel being practically useless because of the multitude of bugs that surrounded them. Like the Multitude of issues that plagued Hourglass. I agree with this, but also blizzard might make a huge expansion every 2-3 year you are forced to pay subscription every month thousands of players buying that is alot of money and you also got to pay for the pricey expansions to actually get the content so blizzard makes aloooot of money to use in expansion and they have a shop too. While sea of thieves only has a shop that is optional

I think we need new ways to get ancient coins. Skeletons are super rare (at least for me) and BP gives low amounts of them and limited. And skins, ship cosmetics in ancient shop... costs like way too much.

We did fight Stitcher Jim as an ashen lord and failed to stop Flame Heart's resurrection in one off adventures.

I missed quite a lot of those. I wish there were ways to relive that content, or at least summarize it, after the events end. Safer seas may be the place to put it since it's kind of disconnected from the true live experience.

@@SnakeLordProductions we had the choice to either help the Reapers resurrect Flame Heart or help Pendragon use his magic to overpower the resurrection ritual. People helped the Reapers either because they wanted to kick Flame Heart's ass because that was too easy of an end for this or because they just wanted to support the Reaper's agenda. I was of the Resurrect Flame Heart to kick his ass group.
