You might try Red Pine.They grow faster.Used for Hydro poles.Yes Larch and Tamarac are the same tree..Great vids you guys.I planted 3500 red pyne 20 yrs. ago..They are now 25 plus feet.

Cecil I have an old north american tree book. It describes Tamarack and Larch as the same tree.. Unknown to most people this species was also called Hackmatack in the New England States in the old days..

you should see with plants grow well for your location . you can also make deep wells with a small exavetor , but experience is required . I live to far from you to help you out 🙂 greetings
