OK - Here is Part 1 of a two-part video. I promised Sarah a while ago that I would help here get her Kitchen and Pantry set up - - and on this video, although it's short, I spent the whole day cleaning out drawers, wiping down shelves, and putting things into the pantry. It's starting to take shape and it's exciting to think that in a few days, Our Tribe will be occupying their brand new home. ENJOY!

I miss my dad so much. He was a LOT like you. Was always helping when we needed it. Although he did not cook, he was amazing with electrical, plumbing, building (wood work), painting etc. Watching your vids reminds me of him. totally agree with you Papa - I dread stickers on things especially things I buy for gifts - I struggle to get the sticker off , get half of it off or scratch the item in the process - so frustrating- I vote no stickers 😅 beautiful Pantry - well done for all the help you and Nana give Sarah ❤️

I can't believe you did all that. Had me crying... what a GREAT daddy you are. Sometime I can't watch you visit Sarah because it makes me cry so hard missing my daddy. He was a Pastor for 50 years in Germany and it's because of his encouragement I ended up doing missions in America and meeting my husband. I know he is fishing with Jesus but I still miss him! You remind me a lot of him. Same heart and humor!

Im soooo in love with her pantry and kitchen. Last time moved, a friend who moved often told me to label every drawer and cabinet with a post it, to help me plan and unpack but also to make it easy to move things around if I changed my mind.

Good on ya, Papa! I am in Canada and we have history of getting an industrial cleaner come in ro do the "Intitial Clean" before the house is signed over to the family. Maybe they signed off, so they could move sooner. No idea. Gotta love that "Royal We" at ghe end. Nice scenic shots too! But great cleaning video, sir!

The light from the windows getting directly to the canned stuff in the pantry will reduce the shelf life of the stored food. It should be darker and cooler in there.

To get those stickers off, especially those that have a strong adhesive: Mix mix 1 parts baking soda with 1 part coconut or sunflower oil to a paste. Spread generously over the sticker, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. scrub off while rinsing with warm soapy water. Repeat if necessary. Works well on surfaces such as Glas and surfaces made of MFC. I‘ve found it works great and is much cheaper than Goo Gone or the like.

I had a doctors appointment today. My husband drove through the back roads. It was beautiful! The trees and the lake was just still. It was a beautiful drive! I love living in Georgia, we get all 4 seasons! 🍂🍁
