Plunder Patroll has been a favourite of mine, but I couldn't find a nice guide showcasing all essential 2-card combos, so here it is. Nine 2-card combos to ease you into the archetype.

Plunder Patrolls have been a nice addition to Master Duel from the get go and finally got their earth ship a couple months ago. Fast forward to now, and we see that this deck still has its rogue status, but does fairly well against Kashtira, which is plenty on ladder. However, it is a difficult deck, with each hand and board state being a puzzle, requiring a good pilot to make the best of it. Now, to make us all good pilots, I was looking for a nice overview of most Plunder combos, but I couldn't find it, so decided make it myself. Run through the 9 combos yourself, to channel your inner DistantCoder, and start plundering your opponents.

Disclaimer for these Basics guides:
1) We pretend that only have the cards in the starters or searchers header in our hand and no other cards.
2) We will ignore the opponents' hand, unless we need them to do something to show parts of our combo.
3) The searchers specified will be able to kick-start the combo by fetching starters. It is possible we use search cards later in the combo that aren't specified in the searchers at the start.
4) The presented decklist may vary from the used list in the combo tutorial, as for the tutorial we want to increase the odds of pulling the combo off.
5) The presented decklists are taking the meta into account but are often different in hindsight. Also, certain cards (especially hand traps) can be easily switched out based on preference or meta relevancy.
The YuGiOh! Basics Series is a series of videos where we elaborately walk through different combo lines and combo strategies for different decks so you can learn how to win. Aiming to inform beginners of the deck, or just beginners to YuGiOh! in general and we perform these combos in Konami's YuGiOh! Master Duel, even though most combos work fine in the OCG/TCG too. We're hoping that these guides will give you the confidence of playing with a tier 0 deck, even though it is ranked slightly (or vastly) below that and not, as Seto Kaiba had put it, be a third rate duelist with a forth rate deck. I'm going to make a wild prediction on the wind attribute ship It'll be a link two link monster with its arrows pointing to its left and right sides, its ability will be to negate the effects of a spell and trap card and destroy it Once returned (quick effect), also plunder patrol monsters this card points are unaffected by your opponent's card effects.

The windship should be a Xyz pendulum.

Xyz Pendulum Wind Ship lets go! Also Plunder P.U.N.K. makes even easier to go into Synchro 8s in the deck. White Aura Whale and Dragite come to mind. Not sure if the Rescue Ace Cards are in MD but a small engine of 1x Fire Attacker and 3x Impulse. Basically, Impulse will trigger via when opponent activates monster effect, SS the Fire Attacker. If your opponent adds a card to hamd, Fire Attacker will trigger, drawing 2 cards and discarding 1. Synergy with your Plunder Cards. White can tag out into another Ship.

@@albertosalazar200608 Got Lab on my mind, so I'll see what additions I can bring to it outside of my other Lab/Plunder vids. Chimera is a bit of a wait, as they were released in Duelist Nexus (DUNE) in the TCG, so I'd reckon those not arriving for the next 3-4 months in Master Duel, which is the application my channel focuses on. But I will put it on the list for when they get added to MD!

I'm thinking xyz pendulum scale like 5 or so. I do think you need to look into Plunder Labrynth..it's absolutely insane. Increases the deck ceiling so much.

The more that I'm hearing XYZ Pend, the more I start to like it. We'll see what Konami does. I agree with the Lab variant, currently working on a build, but it does look very strong!

I do have a video on 'how to get to Jord' with Runicks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/maSQZJagos5qeZI - third combo if I am not mistaken. For current Plunder Versions, I think that Labrynth is the best one (until Chimera support gets added into the game). Runick got a hit with the Fountain limit from last banlist. It is still good though. I've recently played against it with my Mannadium deck, and it is in the most recent Mannadium vid if you want to see how they fair against that.

@@danielrey2573 Fair questions, but that heavily depends on what your opponent does, more so with this deck than others. My advice would be to watch a couple gameplay videos and see how others respond to certain situations. We can do these combo guides as they are often performed in a vacuum (meaning that the opponent does nothing), but every next turn there are so many additional variables that could affect your next step that it is impossible to make 1 guide for.
