There is no such thing as matriarchy anyway you people don't understand the difference between matriarchal society and matrilineal society it is not a matriarchal society it is just a matrilineal society where only grooms go to brides home and women are the providers or head of the family but not the protectors. Men are still protectors and head of the society here people always mix them up patrilineal is not patriarchy and matrilineal is not also matriarchy

This is interesting. At the end they said they have no word for violence against women in their society. The women must feel so safe, everyone looks so happy. It is the culture in almost south Asia. In Japan, at the middle ages men (husband) went to live in his wife family and sometime take the name of his wife familly. In tai/thai culture (Thailand, Laos...) the child belong to the mother, the daughters inherit the house, the land... Marriage is important but not crucial because whaterver the child belong to the mother. A woman married or not the child belong to her. The women are the symbol of the culture and identity. It is the woman clothes which decide that ethny and society is.````

Basically you would feel you belong with your mother and sisters and their children. You would help raise the children and you would be the "father" or male role model for them. I have a Degree in Asian Studies. On top of almost a Degree in Psychology. I got interested in Meditation, Yoga, Mystics, and Hypnosis. Then I started looking for my other lives using more of my mind. Really thinking. Asians Teach their children, they don't just watch their children grow up. The use of mind, emotion, thought, art, music, physically. Teaching self defense to their children. Ok so most Asians, Yogies, Monks know how to use more of their brains, how to memorize everything. They are given as a culture Time to Think. They can sit down with no excuse, or justification. So I noticed they talked about their other lives. I wanted to see if I had other lives, and if so what did I learn in those lives? I found a lot of other lives. Most of them were actually way back in History. I remembered Ancient Cultures which were Ancestor, and Elder Cultures. I like this style of Civilizations best. Then after Wars most of the men died the cultures became Grandmother based. Foundations of Matriarchal, women powered you pointed this out. Now it is Patriarchal men in charge. My favorite is Ancient Civilizations, then Matriarchal. In this American life I am Female in a Male dominated society. I love that they have saved the Matriarchal style for the rest of the World to see. I love they remembered the older ways without having to search for other lives. They have cut a lot of lying out of their lives. They are free to love. Marriage was a way to cut down on Diseases. It was never about love. Very beautiful video their natural way of dressing. I hope they don't lose their special ness to adapt to modern anything. _ ( ) _

What she doesn't mention is that the woman having the last word in the family comes with great responsibility. And that means they are responsible for a whole lot more, just like in a Patriarchy. And as a man i would gladly give that power to a woman if I could be responsible for less or nothing at all, and that is just fine with me. I would gladly change a Western woman for one of these women who works so hard and certainly appreciates hard work. And accepts that love is only momentary and you need to move on without burdening your when it doesn't work. Bring it on; I am all for it.

"Where men have no say" I think mankind wouldn't exist, especially this society if men really had no say:) Men gonna keep having a word, cuz otherwise societies go back to 2 millenniums before.

@@orererererererereo8yearsag855 There is no such thing as matriarchy anyway you people don't understand the difference between matriarchal society and matrilineal society it is not a matriarchal society it is just a matrilineal society where only grooms go to brides home and women are the providers or head of the family but not the protectors. Men are still protectors and head of the society here people always mix them up patrilineal is not patriarchy and matrilineal is not also matriarchy
