Sadly, she has laid eggs over several years, and I don't think they have ever had a successful hatch with babies that grew up and flew away. Bad winter storm in Big Bear this weekend March 2. Very sad. The mom looks very cold. The eggs are not going to hatch with this bad weather.

@@marthaheck1831 I have a rabbit warren in my back yard, so I see many birds of prey. I had a great horned owl visiting in daytime. I thought he had insomnia, but he was probably hunting for his family. We have six bald eagle nests nearby (Boulder, CO). I worry that bad/stupid people will see these videos and try to find the nests. I'm sure the "city slickers" enjoy watching wildlife from their condos.
