Ummm it wasnt his ego, first it was kinda finances and someone she could trust to why he was coaching her. Then when she got older snd better he searched around a coach for her. Tennis is not cheap and Pere didbnot have a lot of experience but she started getting comfortable around him. And finding BG kijda fell in their lap as he was giving pointers and offered to help
