Todd McFarlane Reacts to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Venom | Comic Con 2023

Todd McFarlane, the co-creator of Venom shares his thoughts on the design of Venom in the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man 2 game, as well as thoughts on other adaptations of the character.

In March, Todd did a free signing in my home town. He was scheduled to sign from 10 - 5. The lineup stretched throughout the entire mall where he was signing. He didn’t take any breaks, and he could have cut the line at a certain point, he chose not to. He ended up signing past 8:00, making sure to get everyone who waited in line and even take pictures with him. An entire day spent signing comics for fans and taking photos completely free. Guy is an absolute legend.

Him and Mark Bagley are both huge influences to the newer takes on Venom we see currently. Never liked Todd's Venom much until Mark did the "Lethal Protector" run where Venom truly shines.

Remember when infinity war trailer misled a lot of us? You are too easy to control. Harry is in a tank? SUUUURE. did you ever think that someone might have stolen the symbiote from that tank? Or what if he is venom, but then venom transfers to a different host later. Lots of possibilities.
