She murdered her two children then went out with friends. If that's not evil, sociopathic, psychopathy, I don't know what is.

It’s not actually. It’s much more in alignment with BPD (borderline), brought on by a severely abusive childhood. Sociopaths don’t care THAT much to freak out like this just because they got dumped. That’s why they’re sociopaths. Also- they tend to have a long history of ASPD behavior and she didn’t.

@@kateashby3066 Yes to some extent what u are saying is true. BPD and sociopathy share similar traits. BPDs seek validation from others and are scared of abandonment. Yet at the same time don’t have much remorse over hurting others. Axis 2 disorders can mix and overlap. I definitely think she is sociopathic. Maybe a bit of BPD mixed with it

@@cht2162no that’s not the logic behind it . Many people cheat on their spouses and not kill them to be with someone else. If the old boyfriend encouraged her to kill her family and he would be with her after then that would be the case. Its hard to even comprehend what it must be like to be devoid of feelings of empathy. To see people as objects. She had no feelings for her children, so it was easy to kill them. But to go out with other people for dinner after killing your two children! Like I said, there is no way to imagine how this is possible. While your company at dinner are laughing and joking, you are eating a plate of food knowing that you just killed both of your children. She probably initially thought of killing her husband, then the kids, but somehow came up with that other idea. She forgot how dull he was though. He didn't even know his own kids were dead. Very low situational awareness. She should've thought it out more. Better yet, she should've just divorced him for not pulling his weight in the marriage.

How do you really know your partner? You don't. You don't actually know anyone except yourself. That's a fact of life. You can live your life staying away from everyone, or you can live a normal life knowing that these types of people are extremely rare. There are no certainties in life, except death. It's not "these days" either. It's always been this way. In the UK, two women and one child die every week at the hands of their partner. It's been that way for centuries. Tragic for those involved and a terrible statistic. However, when you take the population is 67 million, it's a tiny percentage and therefore a very low risk of it happening to you.

My son died 9 months ago. The investigation is ongoing. His death is still documented as "undetermined" despite a suspect having threatened him directly, telling several other people he'd "get rid of him" before his death, including my daughter, and me. Afterward, texts between him and a mutual casual acquaintance of him and my daughter were exchanged in which he asked the person to kill my daughter, giving specific instructions along with specific amount of money?! The acquaintance contacted another casual friend who informed his wife and through her my daughter was able to speak with the person approached to "do her" and obtain copies of the texts exchanged. LE now has this evidence. When the person recruited refused to cooperate or further communicate with the suspect His life was threatened. My daughter obtained restraining order and that same day the suspect followed her to a donut shop where he tried to get her to leave with him. She was able to text the Detective and tman was arrested attempting to flee, on foot, with a machete and several knives in his backpack. He was held overnight and released. Still in the area. The entire situation is frightening and absurd. Of course the suspect had been in a relationship with my daughter and my son, though civil, did not like the man from day one. He tried to avoid him when they were in the same vicinity but it was clear he did not trust the man. When neither I nor my son succumbed to the person's obviously fake charm and obvious signs he was manipulative and abusive he blamed us for the relationship not going his way. It took my son's death and the aftermath to convince my daughter her ex may have had some responsibility in her brother's death and she may be in danger. I contacted our sheriff personally, directly, after detectives concluded their investigation in 24 hrs, wanting to write off the strange death of a healthy 42 year old man as accidental, despite multiple unexplained injuries on both arms and around his neck, with suicide immediately ruled out. Your statement about closure is absolutely correct. There is none and never will be no matter the outcome before I am gone. I only know I would never wish the pain of my eldest child's loss on my worst enemy. A child's death is a life sentence visited upon all their loved ones. Still, most family and friends actively avoid speaking his name and though I can understand in one way, my wish is that for those who know someone suffering from a child's death they find the courage to say their name and just BE available to listen or at the least don't pull away from fear. You don't have to worry about saying the wrong thing. Your presence and support mean everything to us. Nothing can replace my son and life has forever changed. I struggle daily though try to live as I know he wants me too as we spoke many times before his death about many personal beliefs and dreams and plans and wishes. He was so sweet and always protective of and concerned about ME. I thank God our last conversation ended with "I love you" and "I love you too mom" even though we didn't always see eye to eye. Thanks for letting me speak. God Bless you all. XxxOoo

Oh wait that's right it was over turned on appeal because of a witness that was excluded during the penalty phase. It’s very telling reading comments of people almost justifying the wife’s behavior due to laziness on the part of the man. If the roles were reversed, there would be absolutely zero sympathy for the husband. Consider that some men fall into deep depression caring for their children and being married to a discontented and emotionally unhinged woman. She didn’t love her children or her husband. This is extremely horrific yet people try to understand this ruthless killer. How many house wives have become alcoholics that binge watch shows on Netflix while letting the children and the home go completely to hell? Do the kids deserve to die? Does the wife deserve to be hacked up over 90 times with a samurai sword? Certainly not. Imagine that 4 out of 8 on the jury did not want her to suffer the death penalty. Insane.

Dr. Thank you as always for your keen supportive work. I appreciate the videos. Was going to start by saying that in this case, but then caught myself thinking, and want to say that in all cases, support for the developing child in the form of love and nurturing is a root component for adulthood and social development. Get a bad deal as a child, and our subject matter will sadly become a discussion paper. Innocent children/ families are torn apart by the consequences of the crimes committed. My question to you is, are there enough people switched on to this one truth that we really need to get going with child welfare if we care about our children and humanity in general ! I think that this IS that serious a social disorder. Cheers

I can understand why she was so furious and disgusted with her husband. Not condoning this at all but she was working full-time while he was at home doing nothing. But why did she go after the kids? Did she not want to pay child support? Inexplicable.

Yes, I agree. I seriously question his manhood for being unemployed and playing video games when he had young children and a wife that was working (i’m a guy). He didn’t deserve to die, of course, but it doesn’t sounds like he was a good father and husband.

She was probably the reason he was depressed. It is impossible that she was even close to a good partner even before the murders.

Would you be saying the same things if the genders were reversed? There are plenty of "housewife" who all they do is to spend their entire days on social media. Still not a good reason to murder someone.

Most ppl I know that hate work and sit around playing video games, have ZERO prospects for relationships or even temporary sexual encounters.
