Except, he is not telling anyone to be silent, he is commenting on the quality of the content, which is ultimately a fascist manifesto that seeks to silence anyone who deins to express their opinion on any subject matter. That you should respond to his critique in that manner is a perfect reflection of how her words are influencing people (like you) to seek the suppression of your neighbours' rights. Well to be fair, she's still considered Black by society and married into the royal family which most likely wouldn't have condoned the marriage had it been William and certainly wouldn't have condoned the marriage had it been Charles. Good enough isn't equal and that takes a toll on people who aren't truly equal.

@aliz.5305 Жыл бұрын
@@maxinefreeman8858 Here's a scenario I give to people: It's the early 1700s in London and a very wealthy young woman gives birth to a Black child. The child is kept by the family instead of adopted out. He is allowed to eat meals with them but not when company is around. Other than that, he is given an education equivalent to his female cousins. He will inherit some property but he won't run an estate like his half brother or male cousins will. Is this a happy story or a tragic story? White people always see it as a happy story because of how much worse it could have been for him. They view the family as being non-racist and the boy as fortunate. But people who aren't white always say it's tragic because he's not even equal in the eyes of his family, they are racist, and "could be worse off" is still not equal. This reminds me of the public backlash when Harry described how an advisor to the Queen held a meeting to discuss the potential skin color of Megan's baby. Harry witnessed the event without Megan around and then repeated it himself but the public accused Megan of being overly sensitive even though it wasn't a story she was recounting. People insisted it was just innocent curiosity and admitted to wondering the same thing without any racist intent. Somehow, they managed to see innocence in the image of an advisor to the Queen asking the Queen to consider how the public might or will react if the child comes out too dark and not understanding that even if the advisor and the Queen weren't personally concerned with the skin color, there was a need to be concerned with how it could impact how the public feels about the family which is the only thing making the royal family relevant.

@@carolb1871 Just like OJ? Really? OJ began expressing pride in his racial identity in order to sway a jury in a murder trial. Megan and many others have shown a light on how she gets treated by the public in contrast to everyone else and speculate, with absolute reason, that her racial identity plays a role in how people react to her. Or did you miss the part where Kate and Camilla had to resist the urge to laugh during her wedding ceremony when the Rev. Michael Curry preached as they do in the Black culture? But I guess if we pretend like the 1 drop rule isn't still true today and that Black people aren't viewed as brutish primitives amongst the "wholesome people", then Megan does sound crazy.

Do we know Dr Todd Grande ? The most interesting part is know the facade behind this man who thinks he is above board and he can trample on Meghan's rights to also have a say in her own life from her own perspective and her unique experiences and perceptions about it.Dr Todd claims he is a licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health and he is on this platform for informational purposes only. Now why target Meghan with harmful rhetoric and it is incumbent in him to control hate speech and not escalate mental health problems. Meghan and Prince Harry stepped down as senior working royals as they wanted to work to be financially independent. The Queen reiterated that they would divide their time between UK and USA. Dr Todd Grande more than anyone should know better than to join the bandwagon of hate-for-profit enterprise. Why does he feel he is ordained him to dissect and downgrade Meghan's podcast at its onset and he has the audacity to assassinate her character when he hardly or personally knows her . He is having his platform to share information. Meghan isn't a criminal and all your speculation about her is unprofessional and uncalled for .She also has the right to work to secure her children future and contribute to the family budget lest you brazenly call her names like she is self centered , arrogant and grandiose.

If only she discussed ambition in a thoughtful way. But the truth is that she is definitely being victimized. It is world wide constant bullying. The name of the podcast is interesting. It would be great to hear more about that. There are fabulous stories and books involving a wide range of fascinating archetypes, and it can be really inspiring and encouraging.
@misstmemrs
@misstmemrs Жыл бұрын
Sadly, you cannot just contradict as an argument. As she did. Extreme ambition can be problematic. In Hollywood, they have acting teachers that advise people to think like psychopaths. Forget your family and focus only on your goal. The author of the San Franciscans characterized that problem in his next book. There are interesting archetypes in literature that highlight the problem of extreme ambition. It is also a valid point to discuss how people can be sabotaged with false accusations of extreme ambition. Johnny Depp smeared his wife that way, or he was concerned about her alleged blind ambition. Unfortunately we cannot just automatically dismiss all criticism. Nor is it necessarily right to promote subversion. Wondering if she is normalizing subversion. That is what her behavior seemed like in England. Subversive. Covert aggression. Destructive manipulative dominating possessiveness. In the real world this “subversion” takes many forms and is extremely destructive. Children are targeted. It is so sad because she went to England and acted the princess and stepped on a lot of toes. She just had no idea what she was doing and apparently no one could tell her. She wasn’t diplomatic. She acted out in a way that suggested a lot of negative things. It certainly seemed there was a subversive actor playing games. With facial expressions and pointed behavior that seemed aggressive, manipulative and dominating. Of course those words are automatically dismissed by her and you are not heard or acknowledged, since you have been cast into the rigid role of subhuman. However, it is interesting to see how she is being bullied and to realize that because if the internet we are seeing how women, particularly, are spoken about and bullied and lied about in society. It is sickening. Innocent people are treated like that. Harry and Megan may have been going through certain mental or emotional events, facing some painful truths. And wanting to do good with the attention they received. Wanting to do more. For the environment and for so many people. The ongoing hostility they are receiving is interesting to see. She speaks with omniscient certainty and defines reality in a rigid way. Ambition is not always good. Hopefully she will discuss the vast knowledge and wisdom she gained around charities.

Oh boy, did she ever!! I am American, and the FIRST thing that took me aback with her behavior (pre-wedding to Harry), was just how brazen and super-confident she was. Many Brits chalked it up to her nationality, but I knew that wasn't it. I did my best to overlook it until things began to be clearly wrong in late 2018. She just didn't exhibit ANY humility. She thought she could be cute, and act all powerful, and spout nonsense, and we'd all think she was wonderful. By the time they announced they were leaving, I was severely disappointed. Then they did the Oprah lie fest, and that was the last straw for me. I may be American, but I have lived long enough and know enough about the Royal family that I knew they were both full of baloney. I joined the ever-growing ranks of those who watch the train wreck and keep wondering HOW LONG this can go on. Well, the answer to that looks to be as long as Meghan is conscious. She wouldn’t look at him twice if he wasn’t who he is, no matter how “nice” he was. She must have thought all her Christmas’s had come at once when she ensnared the not too bright Harry. Not only had she found a rich, white dude, but she also gets to be called Duchess.

The difference between Serena's story and Meghan's is, that Serena told people, how she managed to overcome a difficult situation, how she was there for her child, then pulled herself together, pushed through and succeeded out on the field. Meghan's story was about how she became a victim after a heater overheated in a mansion (when her son wasn't even in that room) and people still expected her to fulfill her duties, which she did not want to do. Think about this, the Queen worked till the day she died with all sorts of health issues and family drama (recently mainly due to Meg) and you never heard her complain or whine even once. King Charles gave speeches right after his beloved mother's death. These people show class, while Meghan demands sympathy and respect that she never was willing to earn. And I am still waiting for someone to send a link to a single racist press article written about her.

You're so right! I watched a documentary about the Queen's life. She rose early every day, dressed in incredibly uncomfortable clothes, handled matters of the state for at least half of her day, then it was on to travelling to engagements, ceremonies, etc, all while having to keep herself in check for manners. No nodding off, drinking, or fun. She did this in her nineties!! She was a selfless powerhouse who loved the people of England.

You’re spot on in your analysis! And as a Black woman I am really concerned about the message she sends to Biracial Black and White or to Black women that white is the best thing going! She plays to her White side and even has said she “ didn’t know what it was like to be a Black woman until she married Harry!” As a Black woman I was not aghast by this comment because she talks about her “ white privilege” and that is insight to how she has chosen to live her life! She is pissed that she was not accepted like Diana by the world and that people see through her passive aggressive manner and lies! She is a social climber whose aggressive ways are unbecoming because she lies to get whatever she wants!

So that letter to Proctor & Gamble there's two things to note. One is that the letter was sent on behalf of the whole class, and many schools around the country wrote letters, and the second is that Proctor & Gamble admitted they changed it because of widespread outcry, but Meghan's father - ever feeding the little narcissist - told her that HER letter was what made them change. 🤦‍♂

I too gave Meghan the benefit of the doubt when she first became royal. I started believing that she had a lot of narcissistic tendencies when she and Harry were on that tour of Africa. The tour was going extremely well for them. I couldn't believe it when Meghan chose an impoverished village in which to do a brief interview saying nobody in the royal family asks her how's she doing. In an impoverished village. She has some nerve to publicly complain about her life. Her life in palaces, millions of dollars, designer clothes, private airplanes etc. Also as soon as she opened her mouth, no stories were done to raise awareness of the plight of these impoverished people. All the stories became about her complaining about her treatment by the royals.

Right. She lacks the self-awareness to understand that her complaining about her privileged life, while being surrounded by people in abject poverty, is morally repulsive. Those people may as well not exist, not when she is present. Because there is only one person who matters and deserves attention in any given place or situation; Meghan. It is frankly stunning, that an individual can so utterly and completely lack empathy, humility and awareness while seemingly having enough intelligence and ability to carry on in other functional areas. Meaning, I don't think she is a sociopath, just willfully ignorant.

As someone living in the UK I would like Americans to understand that H&M are not unpopular because they are entitled or boring (though they are) but because of the way they treated Her Majesty the Queen and her late husband Prince Phillip. Almost everyone here loves Queen Elizabeth and we cherish her. To see her disrespected, maligned and disdained at this stage of her life is too much. Meghan could have been anything she wanted, and as boring as heck and we would have put up with it, but deliberately hurting the Queen has finished them forever.

This American immediately knew how disrespectful her behavior was toward Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip. I won't buy their books and can't listen to her voice. She's so jealous of Kate, she just can't stand it. She has no intention of living in that home the Queen gifted them but will keep it as a vindictive way to remind the royal family she still has her ugly foot in the door.

I was pleased when the gruesome twosome left the UK. I will never forgive the way they treated The Queen. Thank God for William and Catherine. They are a class act. Meghan wanted the adulation without the graft. Visiting the sick in hospitals and opening community halls were part of her remit and she could'nt do it.

Serena slipped a couple of times. When MM told the fractured fable about the "fire", claiming "we had to leave our baby", she said, "Couldn't you have taken him with you?" She quickly skated past that sensible remark which would have challenged her tall tale/victim narrative. She also said, after hearing MM's tale of horror and near-death, "I can't believe we never talked about this before." Ooops - that's because it never happened!

What Meghan has completely misunderstood from day 1 is that being a royal family member _is a full-time job._ Their role is raising awareness, funding & the spirits of people through charity work... those unavoidable "commitments" are a royal's business meetings, when they 'clock on.' Those commitments in your calendar are fixed because there have been days or months of planning, booking venues & security, organising road closures, people paying for tickets to sit in a room with you _simply because you're a royal._ All Meghan had to do was show up & she would have all the attention she wanted.... and she couldn't even do that. Ambitious, she is not.

She couldn't bear that Kate was more popular and that she would never be more popular than her, so she started acting as the victim, playing into Harry's trauma that he could lose her the same way he lost his mother. Not sure if she is a narcissist, but sure as hell, she is an opportunist.

I really enjoyed this one, Dr Grande! Few have nailed Meghan so perfectly well, as have you, in this podcast review- As you have said, she has revealed so much of her lack of substance & character, (should have kept her mouth shut) and has effectively been revealing her odious self over & over again! I’m so sick of that entitled twit, thinking we’re interested in her mundane utterances! It’s no surprise that so many dislike her-pretending to liken herself to some noble cause; or defending those unjustly treated-WHAT BS!🤮🤮 As you have accurately perceived, there is no direction, no talent, no spark of ingenuity, or even reality! “The level of boring” was gold indeed! A huge involuntary grin happened, when you described Harry, wandering into the video- Do they not know, it requires some talent to present a podcast? They both seem to wander aimlessly trying to conjure up “something “, and fail every time, bc neither of them seem to possess any substance- To throw your family under the bus, to gain notoriety, & fortune, is frankly, disgusting!
