Don't be foolish. I've known people in their 80s that could, in a cognitive sense, run circles around most 20 year olds. Add the wisdom and experience of a long career, and that old person is a valuable resource. I agree that very few people in their 80s are fit to be president. My father struggled with dementia for years before he passed and I’m seeing the same behavior in Joe Biden that I saw in my dad when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. The shuffling walk, the halting, somewhat slurred speech, and just the overall struggle to get a point across. I’m no Biden fan but seeing someone exhibit these symptoms is very sad for me. We did not see a leader in Joe Biden. We saw a frail, and at times, confused old man. He’s not equipped to run a grocery store let alone the United States.

That being said, theres a lack of shaking an twitching which would turn me away from pd, an the ramblings an losing ur train of thought are more consistent with alzhiemers. The falling is consistent actually with age (your field of view narrows), but increased by the inflammation of the brain an its ability to process info quickly, again similar in both conditions.

The format, perhaps designed to contain Trump, put a frame around each candidate, metaphorically, that isolated their answers and the way they answered in their own context, without anything to intrude or distract. In this bubble, Biden could be seen without the gaslighting of the media, or Trump interjecting or interrupting. It was pure Biden. The most important part of the debate occurred at the end, when Joe Biden tried to walk down the steps. Biden needed to be shown were the lighted steps were and then his wife firmly held onto his arm while a SS guard stood in front of him to catch him if he fell. Biden then very, very slowly walked down the steps while aided by two people. -----This shows Biden's extreme physical decline, and it will continue to get worse.
