True, especially if there are other indicators. If it by itself it can also mean you are in the friend zone and you need to take action to flirt and make sure you are in a man to woman interaction. I have told women I have a background in nutrition to position myself as a high value man with advanced knowledge. It's a great way to deliberately misconstrue what they are asking about topics in a flirty way. But women can switch to "ooh, free medical advice from a smart guy". When I see that happen I frame my answer back into a flirty or innuendo answer. One winter night recently I was out at the local popular bar and I wore a black short sleeve shirt with a stretchy and thin long sleeve tattoo shirt making it look like I had a tattoo sleeve on both arms. I'm a pretty outgoing, charismatic guy with a very aesthetic physique. I've never had an attractive girl hover around me, and I've never had an attractive girl approach me. Which is fine because I have no problem approaching girls, and in most cases, when I open them, they're all smiles and giggles, they twirl their hair, lock eyes, glance back and forth between my eyes and lips etc. But no matter how well it goes, they never have any interest in leaving with me. It definitely seemed to work better, but I'd still get the kinds of end of the night rejections more often than not.

I'd like to add onto some of Todd's dialogue tips and how they, in other ways, can show the girl is interested. If you're texting or talking face to face with a girl and several times you use Todds dialogue tips of "Two attractive people spending time together" or I've used "This blue eyed handsome guy (referencing me, of course)..." Many times now in a single conversation you've said to her "hey, I'm a good looking guy", if she's not interested, this is when she would clearly say "you're not my type" and so on.
