if ever there was a place that I wished to be there at the time it's here, just to feel the electricity of that music, great times and great bands and the people who were into it.

I just moved to Minneapolis to go to UMN and was immediately drawn to going to local rock shows. It has been really cool to learn about the history of the local music scene here. Makes me happy to be apart of something much bigger.

I've been watching each of these as they are released on KZbin, looking forward to them very much ! Thank you for these videos. I grew up in the Fresno Hardcore scene in the 80's ( I still go to shows , just went to Total Chaos Sunday night)(thank you Franco/Velisha/Destructive prod for carrying the hardcore punk torch forward!!!) , it's always killer to see footage from those days no matter where it's from. Much love and respect !

This is what I'm most interested in, the smaller bands. I got Lung Cookies when it came out, enjoyed and was intrigued by your city's bands, especially Otto's Chemical Lounge. Looking forward to the next part, thank you for this well produced doc!

I wasn’t in the inner circle of this scene by any means, but one of my friends was. I got to watch Red Meat practice in their basement for an hour, and that was pretty goddamned cool.

coverage of this MN music time period scene by PbS .... good enough. Thanks for covering a couple lesser know bands. I went over to the closet and took a look at my old heavy Berman Buckskin leather jacket...don't know why I still have it except it saved my bacon a couple times when things got rough. Outta' give it away to some kid since at 61 years old I know something...u can't eat nostalgia.

When they existed Amrep was in full effect. Cows, Halo of flies, Bastards. I wouldn’t imagine they’re not going to touch on that. Tom Hazelmeyer and Felix Havoc (crusty) have been on the series.
