I have been fighting wild land fire for 17 years. Did not get my first pair of nicks until 10 years ago. Just got my resole back and they were so good I sent my other pair in to get resoled Long story short the quality and comfort and durability is so amazing. I’ll never wear another Fire boot besides Nicks

Will you ever do a Thurman composite toe?

How long does the plastic celastic last for? I figure over time it'll break or become really weak.

Does anyone have experience with elastic toe hurting?

Why doesn't Nicks offer leather structured toes?
@JinsKookieJams2 ай бұрын
*Do you mean by a toe cap over the top of the toes? Because they do have those. Or do you mean on the inside of the boots in the toe area?*

@@JinsKookieJamsno he means a leather toe puff instead of celastic. Similar to how Nicks uses leather heel counters. Other brands offer a leather toe puff.
@dontorres20552 ай бұрын
Largely its time intensive as you have to wetmold those toe puffs to the shape of the last. It would take forever. If your making 5 boots a day then you could but not at any larger level of production
@Faux_592 ай бұрын
@@dontorres2055 Viberg does it. If they make 10k boots annually it's about 40 per day. I don't know how many Nicks makes.

Viberg makes 10k pair a year. That's about 40 pairs daily and they have leather toe stiffeners.

I think that boots with collapsed toes look horrid. I have a boot with unstructured toes that have not collapsed after 5 years.

That's interesting for me those old soft toe boots look cool
