same here, hawaii also. i was born in 95 & used to watch this as a kid. i even remember getting a kikaida clock thru a cereal box mail in thing. man was this show epic. i loved it more than the power rangers!

This is the only way I can get more of that sweet sweet 2000s Megaman X meets Astro Boy ass anime so I'm adapting by watching it like a love action adult swim show. Would LOVE to see this all get animated though

They did make an animation version back in 2000 called Jinzonigen Kikaida The Animation, just not exactly like the live action and only ran for 13 episodes. Two sequels as well called Kikaida 01 The Animation ( 4 edisodes) and The Boy With The Red Guitar (Kikaida v.s. Inazuman)
