Because of Nezuko, Tanjiro doesn't see Demons as just bloodthirsty killers. He sees them as humans that are cursed and can no longer be who they once were. This empathy plays a big part of his character.

About the comment on children and elderly persons being able to perceive Tamayo as a demon, it's a recurrent theme in Western philosophy and history of medicine: it was believed that for children and old people was easier to perceive ghosts and supernatural beings because their intellect was "frailer" and either still developing or starting to decline and their imagination was way more active than normal. It's really interesting to find something like this mentioned in a different cultural setting.

19:38 yes lady Tamayo has said muzans name before. She doesn’t have the curse, she removed it. She mentioned it before but I think it’s hard to remember bc she didn’t mention what the curse is or does. Hope this helped

Also a little bit of lore. For me Muzan has to be one of the best villains in modern anime, just for the fact of his cowardice, the Temari demon was just a child when Muzan made her a demon. Muzan will use anyone to accomplish his deeds.

As to your question as to why they could not help Tanjiro: They were on opposite sides of the house. Tamayo was busy healing Nezuko, who was busy being legless. Yushiro was busy fighting the temari demon.

I had a similar roller blade experience as a kid, except I kind of did it on purpose: I was playing in a park near my house when I got the idea to roller blade down the slide. It is a simple kind offer Love Yushiro's giving in to Tanjiro's insistance I agree, young and elderly is a great thing here Tamayo didn't make her self-destruct after saying the name, that is always Welcome Zenitsu!! When they are more obsessed getting the demon blood, understandable because you aren't the one getting attack 😅 Tho don't forget that they didn't expect this at all. The blood request was just asked just before they got found out. Also they are hiding from Muzan, thank goodness, Muzan doesn't have the ability to track them anymore. So forget the second request if they couldn't kill these demons, there's no way they'll survive the more stronger ones (coz basically, Tanjiro might be dead or very injured if not)

Sarah is right. Kemari was a game kicking a ball by noble men in AD700s'.　Maids at Palace decorated the ball with pretty needlework and play bouncing it by hand with singing (Temari). Commoner girls also started to play Temari afterwards.

I got marvelously winded when I’d first started JKD in high school, and it was grappling day, I was about 18 years old. I’m not super tall, mind you (5’ 3” woman), but we were doing shoulder rolls and my partner was a 12 year old boy. I hadn’t learned how to land yet so the kid went full send on me and dropped me flat on my back, no lungs for me. Sifu stopped the lesson to teach/remind people how to fall. Fun stuff, I can still feel it talking about it. Great stuff. 🙃 This show can get really gruesome sometimes, still love it. Our yellow haired boy can be very polarizing but I can’t help loving the poor kid. He’s true to himself.

One thing that I'm not 100% sure on is whether the water coming from the blade is just a visual flare added to give form to the attack style and isn't physically there, or if this world that has demon blood magic also allows for this kind of sword magic once you've reached a certain level. I'm not wanting any spoilers if they're involved in the answer, but I am curious about that.

In anime small things give the characters power ups. Nezuko losing her leg and then getting the healing serum was a power up. Her leg will fovever be much stronger than it was before.

The two demons being tricked about being part of the twelve, and their brutal death through muzans curse do show how nasty our main villain is! Tanjiros Kind heart will continue to make you question your own understanding of who is deserving of empathy, it really is beautiful. Also more main characters take the show up a notch so enjoy, it’s only getting better!

i think demon slayer has lots of extreme characters. you will usually have strong first impressions of them and you might not always like them from the start. we will eventually see their back stories and if you think about it, it is actually usually "normal" that they are acting in an "abnormal" way. as for me, zenitsu's extreme behaviour made sense. i can understand he is a lot to handle tho, especially because he gets used as a comedic relief character. what i mean is, it's safe to say that demon slayer's humor depends on extreme reactions, extreme facial expressions and extreme behaviour. so you will see it being used on other characters too. hating a character that shown a lot in the story is exhausting in my opinion. so even if you don't actually love the character, i think it's easier to try and understand them than hating them. and keeping that in mind helps you make your experience a little better. and i know that you guys actually don't really have an opinion about "yellow haired guy" right now but i just wanted to say this as we will get to meet lots of characters.
