For some strange reason you really seem to have the ability/talent to convey the feeling like you are really talking to every single viewer personally. Not like a moderator who talks to a broad audience. Hard too explain but quite amazing. Best regards from Germany.

I made non-dairy creamy potatoe soup for the first time a few weeks ago! (I'm lactose intolerant) it's great to see a channel with the same diet as me! Almond milk is saving grace haha. I didn't have the blendy stick thing so I transported the softened potatoes into the blender and then back into the pot. I ran out of vegetable broth so it was REALLY thick. but I like thick soups too! Although next time I'll add more vegetable broth

You can take the seeds out of the "pumpkin" (just squash here in Canada) roughly cut it . oil it a bit then throw it in your toaster oven. It adds even more flavour and the skin just slides off when it is soft. Truthfully though I always just throw squash like that in the microwave for like 10 minutes whole then seed and peel when it is cooked. To thin out root veggie soups if you don't do dairy than use chicken broth. Even a Raman flavour pack and some hot water. In a later video you make mashed potatoes -a cool thing I do is make the mash with the water barely covering the potatoes OVERCOOK them then use that stick blender (immersion blender) to mash/ blend with some butter and milk(chicken stock) and TADA! Potato soup! Miraculously simple and so tasty. Feel free to throw in bits of bacon or ham and any veggies you like (frozen corn is a hit here) and enjoy!
