Sad to see places like Shinjuku and Asakusa empty. Really shows how big an impact tourists made. Worst part is all the businesses that are closing now because the govt is keeping things locked down. I visited Japan during the Swine Flu and they didn't lock up for that.

thank u Rion for this video. I always remember my son crying whenever we were in shinjuku 2yrs ago (he was 5 months old that time) hahaha! then one time, we didn't catch the bus going to mt fuji because he was crying really hard i think because it was too cold for him that time (going december) and we ended up going back to our hotel and slept the whole day T_T it was a group tour going to mt fuji >.< hahahaha ! hopefully we'll have more happy memories when we go back to japan.

Hello from California 🙋🏾♀️. Good video. Brings back memories. I love to visit my friend in Shinjuku and go to Shinjuku Gyoen for cherry blossom season and I like that the weather is cool at that time of year. Covid has temporarily stopped my travels to Japan. Thank you for showing Shinjuku. My friend took me to Omoide Yokocho at night and it was very busy. He said the name was piss ally, and it was changed. I like the name Omoide Yokocho. I remember eating food from Keio department store. I like the food at Keio. Sometimes here in San Diego California you can buy expensive food, but it’s not always good quality. I bought food from Keio three different times and it was very good each time. Thank you for sharing.
