"Some stores are closed. But still, the lights are on." This made me sad and hopefull at the same time. There are things we take for granted. We are so busy with our daily lives that we sometimes forget to appreciate the small things like meeting up with a friend in a mall, sipping some hot coffee in your favorite cafe, etc. This pandemic also taught us that we must keep walking forward. Regardless of what is happening around us, we must keep the lights on. Stay safe, Rion.

Haha I still drive a 1995 year Toyota Carina! The Corolla and Carina models were super popular here in Finland so there is still lot of those left, they are really durable. Also I just love the winter time in Tokyo, the weather is so nice! Almost always sunny with clear skies and I just love the mild crisp temperature, not too hot and not too cold. Just by watching this video I can almost feel the cool breeze on my face! ^^ I visited Japan last time in January 2020, just before the pandemic, I hope to return soon!

Hi Rion, Im from Malaysia. Seeing your video lift my travel burden a little. I was in Odaiba in 2019 summer, seeing you walking around in tourist focus area excites me but seeing so little people around also makes me sad. Stay safe and stay well, lets beat this pandemic together so we can travel to our hearts content. Keep on your good work, at least it warms many people who treasure Japan in their hearts =)

I miss this place. At first time I went to Odaiba is with my friends visiting the Gundam RX-78-2. That was awesome day when i can see RX-78-2. And then walking on that platform on the end with my family. I miss Odaiba so much! Thank you for the video! i hope when the pandemic is over, I can visit Japan again and experiencing some new culture again!

Rion, keep up with the great videos of how it is in Japan during this pandemic. I have been visiting Japan at least once a year for the past 18 years but had to miss my annual trip last year because of the pandemic. My last trip was the end of December 2019 till a early part of January 2020 just missing the Covid-19 infections in Japan. I am located in Hawaii which is dependent on Tourist like Japan and many shops and restaurants here have closed as well. We are hoping the Covid Vaccines will slow down the virus so we can visit Japan very soon. Stay Safe and Healthy Rion and thank you very much for your hard work!

This video was so enjoyable to watch. You capture the stark beauty of winter combined with the starkness of the lack of people in the various buildings due to the pandemic, and you do it with heartfelt concern and compassion for the store vendors and for the public as well. You have a caring heart, You want the best for people and you see the best in people. You're an inspiration. Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for another fun adventure to Odaiba. I love Japan. I’ve been to Diver City 3 times and every time it was such a huge tourist attraction. It’s so sad to see how empty it is. Tokyo was on my travel list for 2020 but it never happened because of covid. I always travel around Feb-March trying to catch the low travel season or Cherry Blossom time. Maybe winter 2021 if Japan ever removes the travel ban I will be back for sure.
