Tokyo Motorcycle Rides EP 3 | Remote Controls and Meat Pies and Uber Eats | Riding my Speed Triple

I got out of the house for a ride on my Triumph Speed Triple into Tokyo's Ryogoku neighborhood for some take out food and Chai at MyChai cafe. My friend Richard is the owner and he tells us a little about his delicious creations! Meat pies, cinnamon rolls, scones, egg tarts and his signature and super D Lish CHAI.
* note: Tokyo has increased it’s level of emergency after this video was produced.
Tokyo is now OFFICIALLY on a 'soft lockdown' beginning this week for a full month. Other than going out for doctor appointments, groceries and take out food, we are encouraged to stay in and isolate. We're doing just that. But I'm still hitting the roads for a solo ride to maintain my insanity (not a typo). It can be challenging being indoors with family for prolonged periods of time... we're all there and feel each other's pain!

If you are in Tokyo be sure to go by MyChai in Ryogoku or use Uber eats for delivery. Richard also has some dinner/lunch pasta dishes on the menu exclusively for Uber Eats deliveries. Please support your local businesses when/where you can. A lot of folks are going through some tough times and we can help.

Interesting story about Iron Maiden. It's a shame that they had never been in Ukraine (though we can propose NSC Olimpiyskyi - 100K seats stadium - for them). But we hope they will be - after the end of quarantine measures, of course. Thanks for the episode! Stay safe and take care!

Great ride PVG...! Your triple is the bomb...I don’t ride, but I appreciate the power! Agreed, don’t let your agro land you in the hospital . That Iron Maiden show must have rocked. I love the smaller venues. Great cafe. The economy is doomed for the short term globally. I hope we can recover. At any rate, thanks for your work. Your videos break up the quarantine malaise. You seem to be a lover of rock of the heavier persuasion...me too. It would be awesome if you could cover Japanese rock bands like you did with AYA1000RR. That was a great episode. Maybe some content in Ddrive, IronBunny, or BandMaid...just some ideas 👍

Peter, Peter, Peter, you can't be made at your wife. She is just trying to keep safe the ones she loves with all her heart! My children & I have been in lock down for close to a month, since St. Patrick's Day. On top of that I was in quarantine for a bit as I was notified a colleague of mine contracted COVID-19 while we were still going to the office, whom I was in a lot of contact with. I am working remotely & my kids have long distance learning. We just found out they won't be returning to regular school for the remainder of the year. They've adjusted quite well to it, but one thing is my daughter is graduating & going to University next year. I've feel bad that she is missing out on a lot of the pomp & circumstance of meeting a mile stone in her life, but she is taking it in stride. Gosh, those desserts look delish!!! Stay Safe.

first video i watch from you. gotta say love the riding, hope to see more if i stay tuned. gotta ask is there any restrictions on like a motorcycle?? i have a kawasaki vulcun s 650 with a nice full system exhaust and i was wondering if i were to ride in japan will i get pulled over for noise?? also i think the taking the controllers thing is a little petty to be honest especially in times like these. hope you and your family is doing well. cheers!

Kevin Ramos hey Kevin! Yeah petty agreed but tough love sometimes needed. 😷 If you have a loud bike you won’t pass the biannual inspection. So what peeps do is put the stock exhaust on for the inspection and immediately swap it out

U should disconnect the batt when ur not using it for a long time... Or u can install on the batt a dripppel loader... u can connect it on the charger so its always charged.... mosr standerd batt have a 2 year garanty but a better one or a lithium one is more expensive but has a longer lifespan... Very funny about the remote controls.... i can understand that there watching tv all day..... but its good for kids to make the. Do something else then tv..... man the power is always like a drug... i went from a 620 to 800 to 1000 to more....and then i dont use it or need it anyway😂 good solution to make some money these days... its hard!!! I hope it wont hit that hard as here in Europe... in spain it hitted pretty hard aswell... thats why do have the complete lockdown and its starting to work thank god for that ..... thx for the vid buddy, really appreciate it !
