Victor Lugosi - what’s gay af? The only thing fkd up here is you and your toxic mind/comment. Got nothing nice to say, then shut the FK up! The sweet guy makes a nice comment to uplift people, then as#*+s like you come along and add your two cents (which nobody gives a crap about). How rude! sorry man, not calling you out because I love your channels but as a chef I just wanted to let you know the garnish was not saffron, it is dried chili thread, mainly used for garnish in Japan.
@elnessj5 жыл бұрын
I was about to flip cause I know saffron is extremely expensive and that looked like it was a lot
@lefthandpathlovecraftian29275 жыл бұрын
Chili threads are also used in malaysian cuisine occassionally but also used commonly in korean cuisine in some provinces and dishes brother. I too am a chef brother! What cuisine(s) do you work with to create your menu and restaurant?
@lefthandpathlovecraftian29275 жыл бұрын
@@elnessj it can be expensive but it can also be cheap it all depends on quality and where it came from as well as if they are actual saffron or if they are dyed to enhance coloration and artificially flavored to reduce cost and get in on the cash flow but yes true saffron of good quality is extremely expensive by weight! One gram is more expensive than most other luxury ingredients of the same weight!

the ramen looks too delicious and it is seen that compared to a maruchan or the food that we have from japan it is nothing like the one that they prepare by hand literally everything both the ramen noodle and everything else instead here already they come premade. And the way you express yourself when you eat ramen shows the love for the food and how delicious it is

Although I just learned of migrationology since a few weeks ago I am a huge fan of minrationlogy.. Because I enjoy so much and I wish you success, I like to bring to your attention that the "red thin string garnishment" of the second ramen on this post "it is not saffron" (I love cooking paella so I buy Spanish Saffron all the time). My understanding is that Saffron are a colored threads delivered from the flower saffron crocus. A piece of a flower, not longer than 10mm. The threads you see on this ramen are several cm long, actually it is chili pepper or dried paprika cut into very thin threads, a common garnishment in Japanese cuisine (I think Chinese do too). I am very confident because although I live in Vegas now.... I am involved with a Ramen shop in Las Vegas since 2018 + I lived in Japan for 21 years. It is called Ito toogarashi (Ito-string; toogarashi=chilli pepper). Respectfully submitting, Fabio Takeshi Sunago
