Perfect shots, thanks! Do you film with standard or wide lens? Any issues with 4K60 D-Log M? I'm sure the camera got a little hot during these long shots, but I assume the alert about heating up didn't appear. The camera is stable at this setting and can shoot for tens of minutes, right?

Been recording for over 2 hours non-stop. Never had any heat-related issues. No problems with D-log either.

Ive noticed some kind of noise interference in the audio track of all your videos. dont know if youtube is doing funky ir if its a camera fault. but sounds like grey noise. almost like a ham radio trying to connect to a signal.. also loosen ur elbow a bit and the footage will flow much better and not have that bobbing effect as you walk

I not sure but base on a lot footages of Pocket 3 I watched, the quality seem not consistent enough to be really above than smartphone, it looks vague with no sharp enough details even just in shaded area like in this video, can't see individual leaves, and last few earlier videos the color seem uneven make the whole video looks like some parts are like painting and some are overly saturated or hued, better just get an attachment ultrawide angle lens to attach to standard iPhone 15 and an Osmo 6 gimbal and get Sony A7RV for dedicated photography and higher video quality if you want a dedicated camera, isn't it?

I think you need to judge the video quality from watching a proper 4K feed (which is not available during the premiere, when you wrote this comment). Also remember that KZbin adds another layer of compression, potentially killing the fine details. In my opinion, the quality is a bit better than from a smartphone, but it's not a huge difference. The biggest benefit is how small and discreet the Osmo is, even compared to a gimbal + smartphone combo.

The biggest selling point of the Pocket 3 is the very compact size, 1.0-type sensor, and built-in mic receiver. Yes you can use a phone, ultrawide lens, gimbal, and plug in a mic receiver but surely you can see how janky that setup is. You'll also have to recharge the gimbal, phone, and mic receiver each time. With the Pocket 3 you literally just flick the screen and it's recording, fully gimbal-stabilised, on a 1.0-type sensor. In between shots you can just flick the screen back and put the whole thing in its case in your pocket. It doesn't suit everyone's use case just like how a phone+ultrawide lens+gimbal+mic receiver doesn't suit everyone's use case, but for the people for whom it suits, it's excellent.

As I see, no info from Japan and usa about overheating issues with the P3 ! That shows one thing: That defect batch is shipped mainly in Europe. Now THAT my dear politically correct friends is called discrimination ! P.S. Great video and thumbs up 👍 for your P3 !

WARNING ⚠️ There is A LOT of defect units on the market ❗❗❗ Especially in Europe....as,always ! BE CAREFUL and check your P3 before paying it ! I returned my pocket 3 already ! Overheating problems. I tried to do a 4K 60fps HDR video and my camera stopped working after less than 15min.! UNEXEPTABLE Dji ! Totally UNEXEPTABLE 👎👎👎and HIGHLY disappointed 👎

Where in Europe? What was the ambient temperature? What memory card brand, type and capacity did you use?

But I still will answer to your questions: Room temp. around 23C Memory card: SandDisk Extreme Pro 128GB The camera was on the table meaning, NO touching ! And where in Europe....almost everywhere as I see from KZbin

Strange. Maybe a defect camera then yeah. It's been similar temperature when I've been using it here in Japan, and I've been holding it in my hand non-stop for one hour, still no issues. Does the camera just stop recording? Is there some error message being shown?

I leave in Germany , I got the camera , also at 23C on 4k 60fps I get best case 40 minutes , on 4k30 I managed to get 90 minutes , I observed that the overheating happens quicker when using the battery handle , I assume because filming and recharging of main unit happens at the same time , I am a bit disapointed as the Pocket 2 was able to film without overheating much longer , and on the 4k 30fps I think you could film on it until you would run out of storage , not sure if I should return it or if is to be expected , I recently also got the Sony A6700 and that one is even worse , the price is always getting up and usability always goes down

I think that the problem in Europe is that there is a legal limit how hot a device can get , and they are forced to shut it down once that limit is reached , I assume it gets hot in other regions as well but because no law is enforcing this temperature restriction the camera just continues to film more , as this is happening on too many devices here
