Thought I should comment, you mentioned about the Lock Boxes being printed of low quality plastic, but one thing you didn't mention is how the plastic does in hot conditions. According to LegendairyEquipment's Etsy page, the box is printed out of PLA. I don't have anything wrong with items being made out of PLA where appropriate, but for a product that is to serve a practical function, I feel that PLA is not the best choice, especially since PLA has an extremely low glass transition temperature. If you live in the tropics, or if you accidentally leave your deck in your car in the middle of summer, that potentially is enough heat to cause the box to warp. I'm not trying to bash Jonathan's work or anything, I think the design is really cool, but I would consider reaching out and asking if they are able to print in another material. Even if it would mean paying an extra $10 or so to get a box printed in ABS, PETG, or some other material, I really think it'd be worth the extra money.

Deckboxes that only hold "a little over" 100 cards are an easy auto-pass for me. I always want to carry some tokens with me. Often also some additional cards that I might swap out for the second or third game of an evening. And sometimes maybe even a life wheel when I feel extra fancy and those things are card-sized for a reason.

I can't believe you continue to stir up controversy with these extremely click-driven box reviews for clout. *I'VE* been keeping my deck inside of a normal 9x6 shipping box, which scatters them about every Friday night so I don't have to waste time shuffling. Why would you ever recommend these costly items when a simple UPS store has everything you need (except the actual cards, which will hopefully be remedied)?

A dream deck box? I got one word for you: Titanium. With rubber gaskets to seal the box and the dice and token compartments, with enough room for a double sleeved cards. Add some stippling or hatching around the corners to keep a solid grip on the thing. Edit: Knurling is the word I was going for. Like what's seen on Maglite, Surefire, and certain Fenix flashlights. Good knurling makes for a good grip!

I say this on all your deck box videos, but the best deck box is the Ultra Pro Satin Tower. I have owned my first one for almost a decade now and it has never let me down. It survived a car crash in my trunk years ago. Recently I flew cross country for a Digimon tournament some friends were holding with two of my newer towers. It was in the overhead and the fight was the most turbulent flight I have ever had. They still stayed perfectly sealed and safe. My friend who was traveling with me did not have a tower and was not so lucky. His cards were all over his bag and some were damaged. I love these deck boxes. Only ultra pro product I like.

And front window for a top loader that holds your commander. It even came with the too loader and included a free mtg card and couple of 3d printed dice/spin downs. My partner got me a custom work from Aaron Cain and its such a beautiful piece. An excellent way to revere my favorite commander deck. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

I have a lot of commander decks. Most are held in Boulders or Satin Towers. There are a couple that are more expensive decks like Prof described. As much as I want some cool deckboxes, and important thing to me is that they fit in easily with the other deckboxes. A unique box is nice to have at home but can be inconvenient to carry.

I used to make my own deck boxes from milk carton - found out that my singel sleeved commander fits pretty good with some extra space for tokens. Also found a reliable way to paint on. The boxes so I could customise them

We sell fancy deck boxes, but we agree that this is a great option. We even have a video where we teach people how to build a deckbox from old milk and juice boxes.

I'm not that much into MTG anymore, but I'd love to get one of Leifkicker's deckboxes one day, perhaps even build a deck around it if its theme is hydras or dragons (or squirrels - that squirrel + acorn deckbox is definitely my favorite of their production). They're the coolest deckboxes I've ever seen.

I guess my dream deckbox would be one made by myself, for myself, and be great. Endless joy

Love the video, great oration. I'm not even looking for deck boxes, but I still enjoy the video. One thing, about that tracking fob thingy, since the thief could simply remove the cards from the box to overcome the device... I wouldn't be so hard on it for not hiding it so well. Oh yeah, and how do magnets work? Nobody knows, it must be magic.

Several years ago, I bought an Aaron Cain box specified to fit two 80+ sidewinders and a 100+, with two dividers and a couple other add-ons. Ended up not using it for that purpose as a month after placing the order I found a more elegant storage/transport system. But the box is absolute quality and I use it for various other, non-MTG, things. Still looks brand new, can’t recommend enough.

I like how the Professor makes a review that looks like he is selling a luxurious car or very expensive cigars.
