I’m totally one of the fans she’s talking about. Disney totally destroyed Star Wars. They did not follow George Lucas’s guidelines. They went off script. Nothing in the new Star Wars movies Makes any sense. It’s hard to be a fan of Star Wars nowadays.

No, the problem is rather than learning from their fans, and making improvements based on fan input, they've hired nothing but feminists, activists, and wokesters (right up to the C-suite including Kath Kennedy) and now all the IPs they've acquired are tanking. And, they are the butt of all jokes including SouthPark, Bob Iger's ego has gotten the better of him, Disney is picking fights with entire states including Florida, Elon Musk is publicly challenging the Disney Board, and .......... you heard it here first, I personally think Disney is at risk of being removed from the Dow 30.

Gina really gets it and I absolutely love her for it. Star Wars took a beloved franchise and trashed it, these conversations are on going on Facebook movie talk groups. P.S. Natalie Portman was my celebrity crush when Star Wars Episode 1 (My favorite Star Wars movie) The Phantom Menace came out. I was 11 years old at the time. I remember thinking, if I ever get married I'd like for my wife to be as beautiful as she is. The prequels definitely had the best fight scenes . I was amazed that there were literally no lightsaber battles in the newer trilogy or the spiritual concepts. What I liked about the prequels was that each one introduced new worlds and ships etc , you can tell creative people were behind it. I feel George Lucas has a golden opportunity to do what he always does and revamp the cgi and make it look better considering so much of those movies were cgi. The only newer Star Wars movie I enjoyed was rogue one. When I saw the force awakens I knew not long into it how lame it was. I remember talking about the new trilogy at a theater after they showed it’s trailer and I said to my friend “man those movies SUCK” and a few people infront of me laughed. This was before it was so openly mocked. Everyone knew those movies were bad. Frankly as soon as I saw the nostalgia bait and the old characters coming back and same look as the originals I knew it would be bad, zero creativity , no moving forward. Atleast the prequels were and felt unique , the light saber battles were the best hands down

I'm not sure socializing in public will be normal in the future. Everybody will become recluse. Ordering and eating from home, shopping from home, watching movies from home, socializing with family and fake internet friends from home, going on vacations, on VR , from home, working from home, going to the gym at home, etc. All this is already happening, but sometime in the near future, people are not gonna know what sunshine feels like or what water in the ocean, lakes or a river feels like on your skin, wind in your hair. That stuff , which people used to live for, will be like myths, while everybody enjoys their fake lives in their government homes. Hoping I won't be around to experience this way of life. Guarantee you, the elites will convince everyone that it's progress and everybody will think they're living their best lives. Really hope we wake up soon

I think you are totally right though at the same time, I don't see the blockbuster film theater release thing having any legs going forward. If anything, social media has given me the ability to expand my searches of different types of movies other than just what comes from Hollywood. I still watch movies, but now I know the director's names, the cinematographers, etc. It has also given me the ability to watch movies from around the world, and more of them. It also has given me a nice group of people to discuss films. I am a cinephile, so I do differ from others, but I also think that social media has made more people like me. As far as the movie theaters, I still go. There's nothing that can replace being under one roof with a bunch of people all laughing at once at a funny line or gasping at a certain scene. Indeed, younger people don't know the names of actors as much as they used to, but you can say that about musicians also. They don't even know about popular KZbin channels like they used to a few years back. They are more interested in selfies and placing some stupid caption or sticker on them. They are just so self-absorbed in themselves, that they don't know about the world around them. Sorry if I double-spoke there Patrick.

just giving my opinon on the first minute of this clip, I think depending on the age of the kid they will know a certain actor. But even then it isn't like they want to go see that actors movies. I mean that was the case for most teenagers and kids growing up. They may know the name and face of an actor and might of liked a movie or tv show they were in but it doesn't mean they follow that actors projects. I think content creators and the newest form of known personalities but it doesn't necessarily mean that those who follow them watch all of their content. It all just depends, Sidney Sweeney was someone who was cast in Madam Web in part because she has a big following on social media platforms but it did not translate to ticket sales. So the biggest metric that needs to be followed is how many followers are willing to grab onto a probuct that you are selling to them. If they just see photos of you on the internet and they like them, that doesn't mean anything unless they buy a product you are selling. This metric is being figured out and it still is hard to figure out who has a following that actually follows.
