 The west destroyed our lives, my great great grandfather died of starvation during a famine in Punjab and my great grandfather was forced to quit his education and fight in WW1 to put food on the table, our land was taken away, reducing us to poverty that directly affects us to this day. While being forced to work and do business in the west, I would never fathom becoming part of such a criminal enterprise. Eventually India will rise and this will expiate the need for us to make all these sacrifices and face all of this abuse and we've already began the process of dishing a few back. I believe a lot of immigrants are more American than a lot of 3rd or 4th generation amaricans, because they have experience of what its like to live in other countries. they chose to come to America for a reason, so they tend to value things other amaricans take for granted. pritty much all of my friends are children of immigrants from eastern Europe, cetral amarica and south amarica. i have more respect for immigrants than amaricans who have no ties to other countries. My grand father was a immagrant but i never got to meet him so i have no ties to other countries other than my friends and thier familys. Thier are exceptions to every rule so im not saying this is true all the time but i have found it to often be true.
